The best Italian Ice. This place has the best Italian Ice, all kinds of flavors and is made with real fruit. I have tried it with rum in my house and my a drink for a hot day.

Casual South Side spot offers fast, inexpensive fare to a pre-Sox game crowd..
In Short
Located right off the Dan Ryan, this place is packed at lunchtime, and before and after Sox games with a casual crowd. A smallish dining room offers seating inside; a patio opens during the spring and summer. The menu includes a standard selection of fast-food favorites: hot dogs, burgers, tender Italian beef, meatball sandwiches and more. In the summer, Ferro's features homemade Italian ice.
