Don't waste your CASH only!. Just got back. Nobody in the JOINT. Owner yelling at waitress to clean the table WITH BLEACH!

Average food, way overpriced.

No sign on door or menu that it is CASH only and no discount. Had to pay a fee to ATM and will be charged by my bank too! What restaurant these days doesn't accept debit/credit cards? And if they don't, fine. But warn the customers BEFORE they sit down and order!

Only at Mary's. The moment we came through the door we were bombarded with good mornings, you can tell the owners emphasize on that. We were seated right away, the table was clean. The food came out nice and hot, and coffee was given when needed. The only slight problem, which isn't that much of a problem, but they are cash only but they do have a atm machine in the restaurant.

Do not listen to the reviewer Zozo, this place was great. As you can see from his illiteracy, you can't really trust his opinion.

just like being at home. I go to marys cafe very often and "the at home" feeling is completely replicated. The food was amazing, i believe no matter what you oder you will be full by the time you leave. The service is spectacular and the food comes out before you know it. I've met the owners and their family working there and it is a great family owned restaurant!! If your staying at a hotel in the loop ask where marys cafe is it is worth it.

bad service, and up charges up the wazoo. this place had horable service, it seemed like the only compatant person was the bussboy. they up charged for everything, what we thought would be a cheep breakfast cost $50 for three people. When ordering we werent informed that things couldn't be sub'ed out. When we talked to the owner she blew us off. the coffee was the worst tasting coffee I have ever had. If you think about going there...don't.

Casual diner serves up homey meals at decent prices in a location close to the Mag Mile.. In Short
Though it's just a block and a half from Michigan Avenue, this diner would fit in perfectly in any small town. All the diner favorites are available, with a wide array of egg and skillet dishes highlighting the breakfast menu. Three-egg omelettes, cooked to a golden brown, come with a variety of fillings, and crepes are also popular. Lunch includes sandwiches and one-third to one-half pound burgers.
