A hidden gem!. I loved this restaurant, it is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food good and the prices are very reasonable (7-12 dollars). Another outstanding feature is that the owners are very freindly, and intertaining. The owner/waiter added to the fun by folding an origami bird, elephant, and boot out of dollar bills. Several of us picked items that were recommended before, tom yun, Red Sea, I had Chilly Red Squid. A great experience!

A great find. Do not expect a fancy downtown atmosphere. Do expect great, fresh, food at a reasonable price. Two great meals and tip for around $20 (with BYOB!!)

Skip the "TUNG" and go to THAI Smile. You will be back

Authentic Thai in the near Southwest Suburbs!. Thai Smile is tucked away in a little plaza along Harlem Ave, however it delivers big taste and authenticity at an inexpensive price. The service is always perfect and the preparations are as good as any Thai restaurant I've been to in IL or WI. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that the dishes at Thai Smile are comparable to other "trendy" venues such as Big Bowl and Vong's Thai Kitchen. The top two dishes I recommend are the panang and pineapple curry entrees. It even doesn't matter which meat (or tofu) you choose, they're delicious enough to cook up with a shoe while still tasting great. I highly recommend this spot over any other trendy Thai restaurant in the area. Trust me, you'll thank me for it.

Delicious. I live in Tinley Park. I go the extra way to eat at Thai Smile in Palos. It is one of a kind. I always order Chicken Pad Thai, and an order or crab ragoon. The chicken pad thai is so delicious, especially with their hot sauce. The service was excellent and the decorations were lovely. This is one of my regular restaurants.

1 man show!!. Located in a small strip mall on Harlem Avenue, Thai Smile is hardly noticable. Stop in once for food, and you'll want to go out of your way to get there. The owner/waiter and his wife (who cooks all the food) run this restaurant like a machine. While there are only around 10 tables, most are full between 5-8pm. Don't miss the Tom-Yum Spicy soup, which is excellent, and the Green Curry tofu, which never misses. The Red Sea seafood concoction is also excellent. Very reasonable prices and good service make Thai smile a must-visit!! Don't forget to try the Thai Ice Coffee!!
