Good Food / Bad Service....
I am a good customer, there every week, good food, good tipper, but the staff makes me feel not welcomed... The waitress is rude, She don't greet me, don't serve me, & don't buss my table. When I need a menu, I have to get up & walk to the Bar to ask for one, then I order my Food & Drinks at the Bar, then I walk back to the table to sit with my friends. When I eat their good food, I tip about 15 - 20%,
but I don't drink Alcohol because of Doctors orders, so on my $.75 soft drink, I usually tip 100%, depending on the service, I get better service at the Bar, & no service at the table, & when I try to talk to the waitress, she raises her voice at me before I can even say, "No Sugar," as if she wouldn't care less what a customer wants... I really didn't want to bring this up, but I'm getting the same treatment by her every week. I just can't take anymore of this...

Never again. My family and I dined there for Valentine's Day. The service was horrendous. Our waitress disappeared for 20 to 30 minutes at a time and routinely forgot to bring items we requested. It took 3 hours and 45 mintues to finally finish our meal and leave. Also, the food was just a little better than average. Typically, you can expect meals to take a little longer on a holiday such as this. However, the restaurant was not that busy (empty tables were seen most of the night). Will never step foot in Krapil's again!

This is real steak!!!!. Krapil's is home to the best dry aged steak on the South Side of Chicago. All the steaks are trimmed upon ordering. They are cooked to your specifications and the garlic smashed potatoes that you can get are excellent. Do not skip appetizers because each one is delicious. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful if you have never tried Krapil's. Even though known for steak, they have many varieties of fish and some of the best ribs that you can get.
