Incredible food on a rainy night. It is expensive night out, but worth every dime. Parker's is not a seen and be seen restaurant, but if you want a sophistocated atmosphere, and roaring fire, and incredible fresh food, then Parker's is the place to go. My husband and I always ask ourselves after a meal there, why we do not go more often, as we have never had anything less then spectacular there. The Mahi Mahi Wontons were to die for, and the Mahi Mahi Dynamite was just that! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants city quality seafood in the suburbs

Fantastic Evening. My husband and I ate here on Valentine's evening. We were greeted very pleasantly at the front. When I asked about the night's entertainment the Manager suggested we enjoy our meal in the lounge with the piano bar. It was wonderful. The calamari we had as an appetizer was good but the sauce tasted mostly of catsup--not so good. Our meals were good; I had scallops and my husband had the grouper, both cooked to our liking and tasty. I had the chocolate grateau which was quite enjoyable. We leisurely sat and were not disturbed until we were ready to leave. We will definitely visit this place again. The only knock was the somewhat slow waitress--but it was a busy night and we were not in any particular hurry so no big deal. Check it out!

Contemporary seafood restaurant with an upbeat, clubby setting.. In Short
Live piano music draws martini drinkers to the vaulted lounge, which spills over into the mahogany-trimmed dining room. An exhibition kitchen churns out globally inspired fresh catches, such as crab cakes with lemon-garlic aioli; cedar planked sturgeon; seared, hand-harvested jumbo sea scallops; oysters Rockefeller; and Shandong-style ahi tuna. Landlubbers can opt for wood-grilled filet au jus with oven-roasted potatoes and sun-dried tomatoes.

My Worst Experience. Maybe they are better now, since they are still in business, or we ordered the wrong items, but for $60, the chef came out and argued with us about the steak, saying it was a filet, when it definitly passed for rib-eye and the apetizer lobster for $30 was just that, a wee apetizer. It was my birthday, and my wife had to take me to another restaurant so I could eat. Oh, the $60, was for 2 drinks, the lobster apetizer & tip! At least, after arguing, they didn't charge us! Too many other great places around.

Handsome, upscale seafood house flies fresh fish to the Western 'burbs.. The Scene
Dating couples and businesspeople in suits and designer sweaters populate the upscale, masculine dining room done up in rich woods, white tablecloths, and fish-themed artwork. Service is generally efficient, with a few hiccups.

The Food
Fresh seafood flown in daily is the star on the well-honed menu; a few specials round out the offering of mostly American, Asian and Italian preparations, with wood-grilled and wood-roasted options. Crisp-seared crab cakes are delicate pillows with a minimum of filler, paired with a creamy lemon-garlic aioli. Refreshingly light Manila clam chowder harbors plenty of chopped clams, plus a few in the shell. For entrees, fist-sized cubes of ahi tuna are seared and sauced with an exotic spicy plum chili sauce over curried noodles. Bouillabaisse teems with a medley of fin and shellfish, though the broth lacks character. The dish is served (and frequently spilled), from a Le Creuset pot set on the table. Subtle lemon-ginger creme brulee is a nice finish.

If your in the mood for Salmon.. Then I would suggest making a visit to Parkers Ocean Grill. We were in the mood for salmon for dinner, and chose Parkers, after surfing through our options using City Search. We had a delightful dinner; the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, with friendly and courteous staff. I had the King Fresh Alaskan Trolled Salmon and my wife had the other Salmon dinner (can you believe two choices for salmon!). Well, we liked both but the Alaskan was a bit tastier, and we agreed the extra few bucks were worth it. Our 3 children were with, and the Kids menu was diverse, priced well and tasty, they enjoyed their meals also. Leave room for the desert, we picked the 3 layer chocolate ice cream concoction with a large triangle chocolate chip wedge, SMASHING I say, it was the perfect way to top off an already excellent & tasty dinner.

Excellent Seafood in Burbs. Great Seafood in the Burbs. I don't know of any place around that compares in quality and freshness of their seafood. We have been here a number of times...and each time we are impressed. Specials of Halibut and Mahi Mahi were great....so many different tastes on one plate with the sauces and salads....what a great change of pace in dining. Grouper and Tuna have been excellent as well. If you want to sample some great seafood in the Oakbrook area....this is the place. Also, nice staff....great lounge.....this place has the feel of an old fashioned steak house....with seafood!!!!!! Adding salads, apps....the prices do add up....drinks are pretty pricy......but the quality is great.
