Disappointed. My mother had not been to Stir Crazy in Oak Brook, I thought it was very good in the past and wanted to take her for a nice dinner. I was so disappointed. I sat at the bar waiting for others in our dinner party and sat for 15 minutes before a bar tender came behind the bar. In my 15 minute wait I watched a swarm of fruit flies behind the bar. Our waitress was very slow and unattentive to our table even though it was not that busy in the restaurant. The salad bar station was messy and the area where you bring your bowl for stir fry was dirty and sticky with sauce.

The food tasted very good and was hot but the overall experience was not great and will probably not return

Mall Restaurant. Food: Good. I had the Thai Curry Bowl with chicken, wonderful! The rice was perfect and the curry creamy and full bodied without too much heat. My friend had Double Pan Fried Noodles - she wasn't impressed. We also had PotStickers, I'm not a big fan of this dish, but they were ok - not soggy.

Selection: I was surprised at the variety. Something for everyone as different Asian cultures were respresented.

Service: Quick and friendly, although our server looked out the window the entire time.

$: Good value, portions were moderate in size. Bill and tip around $50 for 2 including alcohol (1 beverage each)and appetizer.

Cleanliness: Looked nice, didn't need the bathrooms.

Ambiance: Not so great, you're typical mall restaurant, busy for the sake of being busy.

Come again: This was my first visit and will probably not go again. OK if you're at the mall and need to eat, but I wouldn't choose to go there. But I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants.

Woodfield is Better. The Woodfield Location has better waitstaff, service, management. Must try the create-your-own stir fry bar. The Mai Tai & Singapore Sling were better than I've had in the city!
