“C's Pub & Ristorante is a great lil place”
“The staff was friendly, the service was great and the food wasn'.”
“Great food, Good price”
Great Food_ Great People. My favorite Place! Everything is great. I can't pick just one item since we love everything. Especially the Braciole. You must try it. Also, The staff is great. Salute'
Excellent Pizza. Pizza was great, this is the tavern style that most Chicago restaurants serve. Sauce has just a little added sweetness to it, the cheese is done just a little well done which makes it perfect. Only drawback is that the inner pieces of crust aren't as crispy. Overall sauce - 10, cheese - 10, crust 6 and that makes for a darn good pie
GOOD FOOD and WONDERFUL SERVICE. I LOVE THE FOOD at JCS. i am an employee there and have not gotten sick of this food yet. The managers and waitress are great!!! THE BUFFALO CALAMARI IS THE BEST.
GREAT NIGHT OUT !. Went to JC'S Pub last night (9-27-07) Great Food, Great Atmosphere and possibly the best JAZZ BAND I HAVE EVER HEARD ! Bob Perna and Persistance..................It's nice to see Chicago hasn't forgotten it's jazz roots...........Go enjoy the food, drink and atmosphere and call first to see if Bob Perna is playing.........
Great food, Good price. I only been there once. But great food! Will go back. A little hard to find the first time. Service is fast and good. Parking lot a little tight for a pick up.
This dim, smoky hole-in-the-wall serves tasty steaks to a loyal, local crowd..
In Short
Wood-paneled walls, dim lighting, and red-and-white checkered tablecloths set a retro mood at this southwest suburban joint, where signed pictures from newscaster Joel Daley, politician Judy Barr Topinka and other Chicago notables give the place some local cred. The large menu offers favorites like bacon-wrapped filet and chicken Vesuvio, along with casual fare like meatball sandwiches and gooey thin-crust pizza topped with pepperoni. A full bar serves up everything from bottles of Heineken to Manhattans on the rocks.
Swill who?. I am a regular patron of JC's and have never had the "privilege" of encountering this "Swill" person. I am a non-smoker, so maybe he frequents the bar or smoking section. Anyway, the food, drinks, and service are great. I love the ravioli, grilled calamari appetizer, and seasonal turkey dinner. Try anything, you'll love it!
