Editorial Review for Key Wester Fish & Pasta House – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
The decor is deep-sea kitsch, with exotic tropical touches, Jimmy Buffett on the stereo, and scads of wooden swordfish bearing Key West bar names hanging from the ceiling. The menu boasts specialties like conch fritters and bayou jambalaya, plus other tropical options like spicy shell pasta with Cuban and Cajun-spiced chicken and portobello mushrooms. Creamy, delicious Key lime pie makes for a sweet-tart finish.

Drinks are the delight of any trip here. The Bloody Mary is spicy and delicious, and the pina colada alternates layers of refreshing strawberry daiquiri and frozen colada, topped off with a layer of rum and coconut.

The Extras

The Key Wester's centerpiece is a 2,200-gallon aquarium filled with tropical fish.

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

My family and I ate there tonight. It was awesome. I called ahead on Friday to have a table for 4 on Saturday evening. The service is prompt and the food is awesome. The menu has something on it for every taste. It does cost a lot to eat here so have at least $150.00 on you for a party of 4. That is close to what we spent. The only con is that you really don't get the amount of food for the price that you pay.

Pros: Awesome food and beautiful restaurant.

Cons: The food is over priced for the serving size.

Service and food are well worth the time to take to go here! We live 3.5 hours away and travel just to eat at Key Wester Fish and Pasta House at least 4 time a year and more when time permits. The service and food are 5 star.

Pros: Fish tanks, swans on the pond, waterfalls are all greatly likable as is everything here.

Cons: There isn't one thing we would change
