In Short – The wait can be long at this intimate restaurant, but the tapas and other traditional Spanish dishes are worth it. Signature patatas con alioli blend thickly sliced potatoes with a garlic, parsley mayonnaise. Also try canalon de atun, a cannelloni filled with tuna, asparagus and basil, served cold with white wine vinaigrette and tomato basil. Colorful paellas take 35 minutes and arrive steaming hot in a traditional pan. For dessert, flan is always a good bet.

Best Tapas Around!

by YahtzeeGirl at Citysearch

The Meson has a very diverse tapas menu that will please each one of your friends or family. The portions are the perfect size to try a lot of different items from the menu in one visit. The serving staff is top notch, we have never had a bad experience in the 10 times we have eaten there.

We love the restaurant so much that we were married there a couple months ago. All of our guests had nothing be fantastic things to say about the food/service/atmosphere.

Our favorite restaurant in town by far!

  • Pros: best sangria in town, great atmosphere
  • Cons: the wait time can be somewhat long
