Hands down the best consignment shop in Chicago. Ignore the bad reviews! I LOVE Cynthia and Cynthia's Consignments!! Hands down the best consignment store in Chicago. Great selection of designers and merchandise. I have found many amazing items here, prada dress, gucci shoes, miu miu bag all for a fraction of what I would pay on ebay or retail! I have also sold some items here and found the turaround time to be quick!

Cynthia herself is so friendly and cares about her customer and her staff has always been great. If you are looking for some amazing fashion finds Cynthia's is the spot!

loveadeal. I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about, I found Cindy friendly, helpful and very sweet. I always have found a great deal on something special to add to my wardrobe and the things I have found even a few years back are still awesome pieces that I get complements on everytime. Don't really know Simone but she was always seemed nice to me on the occasions I visitied when Cindy was not at the shop. I always make a point of stopping in everytime I visit Chicago before I hit the full price boutiques.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Do not shop at this store. They are rude and have the worst customer service i have ever experienced in a retail and/or consignment shop. If you do not heed my warning, you will just find out for yourself. The owner thinks she is a Miss Know It All and Simone, the sales clerk, couldn't get hired at McDonald's.

Recommended but not highly recommended. I recently visited Cynthia's. The service were good. The selection is limited. The price is too high for most items. However, I still found a piece I like with an okay price. I suggest to visit it once for a while when you are passing by.

A Clybourn Corridor consignment shop that wheels and deals in high-end designer clothing.. In Short
Everything in this boutique-like consignment shop is pressed, hung and less than two years old. Expect a varied designer selection of skirts, shirts, jackets, evening gowns and even bathing suits on occasion. The big-selling brands are Chanel, Versace, Armani, St. John and Louis Vuitton. Some of the items are brand-new: year-end overstock from local boutiques like Ami Ami, Jolie Jolie and P.45. A corner of the shop is dedicated to bridalwear.

User review by olioli. Got my wedding dress there--a Christos gown that was circa $2500 for $1200. Am absolutely in love with the dress, and there were many others that were very, very cute. Size is a problem -- many of these weren't my size, and alterations cost me more money.

Service was terrible, but I think regularly it is Cynthia herself--this time we were helped by an awful young lady who refused to pay attention for us. Nevertheless, a great value, much better than most high-end bridal salons, for the same quality. That's what I wanted. :)

A lot of hype - no substance. I recently visited Cynthia's to look for a wedding dress after reading about the raves from a well respected local magazine. I should have paid careful attention to how old the rating was - back in 2001 it may have been a gem of a place to discover good deals but I realized that Cynthia's have no substance to back up the hype: poor selection, unorganized, non existent customer service, and snooty attitude to go along with its location. In my final analysis, I would not recommend Cynthia's.
