A 45-story luxury hotel manages intimacy and style right off the Magnificent Mile.. In Short
The result of a $50 million renovation is this luxury hotel, which keeps a boutique feel despite its size. Guests are struck by a light display that flickers blue swirls on the floor and behind the front desk, a modern aesthetic carried throughout. Vacationers and the suit set will be surprised to find a wine bar in the middle of the lobby, plus a very anti-hotel restaurant in aria, which sports a global menu and an unstuffy atmosphere. Rooms favor tones of ivory, wheat and sage with floral artwork, rainfall showerheads and Lake Michigan and skyline views.

Lovely, friendly hotel. The Fairmont is a very nice hotel in a great location right next to Millennium Park and the Art Institute. We had a tastefully decorated, quiet room and very comfortable bed. The entire staff was very pleasant. Gorgeous view of the park and museum campus from the room.

No Bargain!. We selected this hotel based upon my past stay and the great room rate.

Know that if you do get a value rate for a room at this hotel...you will get

exactly what (they feel) you have paid for. The room was a disaster!

Slow (almost clogged) drains in the sink & shower, broken window handles and

dirty carpeting. Do not expect glasses, robes or towels to be replaced.

We went up for a nice weekend and felt like they could care less. In hind-sight

I wish I would have complained to the front desk. That room should not be used

until it is fixed up.

Chicago's Best Hotel. A friend insisted we try The Fairmont Chicago after they stayed there during a recent wedding. We could not have chosen a more perfect place for our getaway Chicago weekend. From the moment we arrived to the day we departed the staff was helpful, responsive and clearly interested in our needs. They event sent us a small anniversary card..I am not even sure how they knew! The rooms we were in faced the Lake and Navy Pier and it had a oversize bathroom and very comfortable bed. We had dinner at Aria our fist night and went back again our second night because the food was so good. We are planning a late December return to go shopping for the holidays and we will stay at The Fairmont again. Service was superior!

Fairytale at the Fairmont. After much searching we choose the Fairmont because of the comments that I have read on the internet. All of the good ones where right. It was the nicest and most elegant hotel that I have ever seen. The service was perfect and they pampered your every more. The Fairmont club entiled us to an upgrade to a suite. It was huge an magnificiant. I would recommend that anyone that has the chance to stay there, should. I know I'll be back.

Romantic Suites. My boyfriend took me there for our anniversary. Room service was great, I truly felt like a pampered princess.

The only thing i did not like was paying a fee for parking I feel that should be included with the rooms.

One of the best in Chicago!. This is one of the best hotels in Chicago. Great location, views & service. The new restaurant Aria has great food and Aria's bar is the place to be.

Fairmont & Aria Bar Great. The hotel is great with great service...the new restaurant and bar...Aria...is cool, hip and hot! The food was awesome..service great. We just decided to hang out in the bar....lot's to see!

Fairmont is the best Hotel in town!. The Fairmont Hotel is the best Hotel in Chicago! Whenever I stay over night in the city this is the place I go. The Fairmont is near everything, Grant Park, the Magnifcent Mile and Theatre District. Guestrooms have lovely views of Lake Michigan. Service is unsurpassed without being pretenious.

I highly recommend this hotel!
