Great seafood option. My brother and I always come here to catch up, since we both love fresh seafood and they have great service too. We always have pleasant meals at Catch 35. I love the sesame crusted ahi tuna, which was delightful and cooked just right. My brother ordered the shrimp pad thai which was a bit spicy for his taste, but delicious nonetheless. Perhaps they could put a little warning for dishes that are spicier on the menu? Our server was very nice as well, and the waitstaff was very prompt in refilling our water. The food never fails to disappoint, seafood is always fresh and prepared masterfully. I would only suggest that they change their menu more regularly to encourage me to come back more often!

Greatest Restaurant. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the City. The food is great and the service is spot on. My wife is a vegetarian and at many restaurants she is treated to a selection of sides. Catch 35 asked what she would like and made it for her. The Jazz band playing at the entrance is entertaining and priceless. This is elegant dining and I feel like Fred Astaire might just stroll past in a white tie and tails. Go, enjoy really well thought out fine dining.

Flashy fun at the Seafood bingo parlor!. My wife, son and me ate at Catch 35 before a concert at the Chicago Theater, which is right around the corner. The restaurant is beautiful and flashy although the tables are set very close together. Its great for people watching and listening! The kitchen has a glass window all around which is both interesting and troubling at the same time. We ate early, about 6:00 to avoid the big rush later. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly and very helpful with our selections which was needed due to the expansive menu. Many wines are offered by the glass and proved to be a nice inexpensive way to try some different wines with our meal. We started with shrimp cocktail and the coconut shrimp. The shrimp cocktail was absolutely average with small shrimp lying dead and cold on a big plate. The coconut shrimp was outstanding with a delightful chutney like sauce. We had the crab bisque instead of salad. It really was not very good. It wasn't bad, just not good. It needed salt, pepper, crab and bisque. I don't know who prepared the soup, but he needs to be slapped with a mackerel. My wife had the scallops, my son the halibut and lump crab meat and I had the blackened grouper. The scallops were great as was the halibut, but my grouper was still flopping on the plate when it arrived and has to be sent back to be caught and cooked. Don't get me wrong, I love sashimi, just not part sashimi. The restaurant is flashy and the service is fast and attentive. Just be careful with your selections and poke it before you put in your mouth.

I WAS WOW'D..... As we just walk in.. I was already impressed. Large yet intimate dining. We arrived 45 min before closing.. You would think the wait staff would be cranky, ready to go home. Well, I think we received the best service. I usually try different foods when on vacation.. So I choose the Halibut, topped with crabmeat. My choice was on the money.. Sooo good. My husband, being the carnivore he is.. choose a NY strip steak, med rare with whipped potatoes. They have a signature dessert.. the Key Lime Pie.. Of course I decided to take a taste.. My husband had the baked apple pie.. Both were excellent.

This is surely a great place to eat. In the heart of it all too...Enjoy!!

Great food and service, allow time on reservations. We've eaten at Catch 35 twice. Both the food and the table service are excellent. However, the coordination of reservations on weekends could be a lot better. On both occasions, we made reservations well in advance; but were not seated until 30-45 minutes after our reservation. Luckily, there is a nice bar with live music for waiting. You should definitely visit this restaurant, but probably not on a night when you have theatre tickets or some other commitment after dinner.
