I work here and still eat it everyday. I love these sandwiches. We do not pre portion our meat, we make every sandwich to order and the meat is outstanding! I would highley recomend the wreck if you can't decide

Potbelly Salds. I visited the Potbelly located in the downtown Houston Park Shopping Center for the first time today. I ordered the Veggie Salad, and it is the WORST salad I have ever eaten in my life. Everything in the salad was old and soggy. If I hadn?t been so hungry I would have thrown it away. If I ever eat at Potbelly?s again I will not order a salad.

The best sandwich around! You will be happy you stoped by.. I heard this place made a great sandwich, but I had to try it myself. I always try the tuna salad pretty much everywhere I can. This was the most unusual tuna salad I have ever had. It tasted as if they marinated and grilled a tuna steak then chopped it up with a very light dash of mayo. The flavor was outstanding! I can't wait to have another one. This was definitely did not taste like tuna from a can.

Did not live up to expectations. The sandwiches my wife and I tried were ok but not near the expectation we were led to believe. Bread was ordinary, portions of meat scant, toasted not baked. The best part of the sandwich was the hot peper mix. The cup of Cole Slaw was nothing more than a souffle cup and did not stand out. The dining area is nice but I would rather have had a great sandwich. When we are in Columbus we always make a stop at a place called wg Grinders. There are a few of them also and those oven baked sandwiches are the real deal.

OK food, for a chain.. I thought the voting was for a Chicago place. Potbelly is a chain not a Chicago place. If that were the case isn't Mcdonalds the best because they sell more burgers and sandwiches that anyone else. All those billions and billions can't be wrong.

Potbelly's is usually very crowded and the food is pre-portioned - in other words, the employees pick up a slab o' meat and place it between bread slices. A regular restaraunt will make your sandwich to order from ingredients.

Not bad.... I would definitely rate this restaurant as average. The sandwiches are tasty and the atmosphere is okay. The portions aren't huge, but neither are the prices. For those of you who complain about their sandwiches being "too small" for Chicagoans, that's exactly why Americans are SO overweight! Their portions are average, their prices are low, and the food is good.

Popular lunch spot mixes old-timey atmosphere with baked sandwiches and milk shakes.. In Short
The lines are long, but the crew behind the counter works like a well-oiled machine. There's nothing too fancy here, just baked sandwiches like smoked ham or turkey and Swiss, meatball, and the Wreck: salami, roast beef, turkey and ham with Swiss. The secret is the bread, a fresh Italian roll baked till crisp and chewy. Don't forget the hot peppers--you can always cool off with a mocha shake or pineapple-coconut smoothie.

NOSTALGIC. I had a daughter diagnosed with cancer at age 5 and for the next 4 1/2 years we spent many months, weeks, etc at Children' Memorial Hospital. There is a Potbellys within walkin distance to the hosp. My daughter loved the giant pickles and their sandwiches, (which they made special for her) I loved their food too. The staff was so very accomodating and friendly. It was nice I could go in their in a fog (my mind focused on hospital issues) and I could just say "I need a sandwich for my daughter". They would just make it and toss in a cookie or chips or something nice for her and always remembered to say "hope she's feeling better." I have many fond memories there- although my daughter did not survive, I have great memories and a high regard for those people- They earned their wings in heaven.

Delicious. This place is the best! Try their milkshakes and all their sandwiches! You won't be disappointed. And they're fast and friendly too!

Best Sandwich Ever. I've lived in New York, Denver & Chicago, eat out all the time and Potbelly's is still the bast sandwich I have ever had.

I am eating a Potbelly's Turkey Sub with everything on it including the gardeniera (hot pepper salad) at least once a week.

It beats Quiznos (overpriced and scant on the meat) and Subway (cheap meat, not toasted) every time.

Yum.
