“Their customer service was equally as professional.”
UNSATISFIED. Do not use this company. If you can find someone else to do your job, I strongly advise you to do so. A cover Factory is not the experts they claim to be. Sam Soroka is a liar. He will not honor what he promises to do. I used them before and was satisfied. Time came to have more work done and I called them again. The second experience was not the same. I had a sofa and a love seat covered. The quality of the plastic was not as good. The seams on one piece were not sewed the same and did not match. The fit was not right. The "lifetime" warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. I had a tear on one of the pieces I had done before. Sam repaired the tear only because I agreed to make the second purchase. shortly after, I had a tear on one of the pieces of the new order. I called him and he did not do anything about it nor would he return any of my calls. That was the last I ever heard from him. I will not ever use A Cover Factory again and advise that you don't either.
I've used A Cover Factory many times and LOVE them!. Friends referred me to A Cover Factory several years ago. Since then, I've used them three times and have had an excellent experience each time. They came to my home and showed ma a large variety of fabrics to re-upholster my sofa and chairs. They offered me a competitive price and delivered as promised, ON TIME. I would use them again and recommend them to any needing upholstery services, plastic or slip covers.
A cover factory. This is the worst business in the city and suburbs. I had to report them to the BBB, and the BBB attempted to reach them on four several occassions they refused to reply, They are just the worst, they should be closed down for fraud, consumers beware!!! Sam Soroka is a complete fraud!
Scam artists.
Sam Soroka came to my house on Sunday September 19th, 2010. He wanted to charge me $1200 dollars to create slip covers for two couches. I told him I would think it over, it seemed very expensive, and he seemed to waffle about he information that he was giving me. As an example he originally indicated that he would have someone pick-up my couches, and then indicated that, actually the work would be done in my house. I reminded him that the couches were going to need to be cleaned, he forgot that he had said this five minutes prior. Mr. Soroka indicated that I could give him a deposit and that I would have until that Wednesday to cancel. He indicated that he would return my money then. He told me that I should "think about it." I called and canceled on Tuesday. he still tried to push the covers. I said, "no." When I checked my account, he CASHED MY CHECK. When I called to complain he said I would have had to get him a notarized letter by that Wednesday to cancel. He didn't mention this at point of sale or when I canceled. In fact, he said that he couldn't even remember that I canceled. What I was told by Mr. Soroka did not match what he had me sign. I feel as though his practices are focused on deception. I do not believe that Mr. Soroka ever had then intention to make the covers, I believe that once he knew I would not buy that he counted on the fact that i would not fully read his contract. I listened to what he said which did not match what was stated in the literature. I believe this contract is written to mislead customers.
Please do not use this business.
An AWFUL experience I wouldn't wish on anyone.
This was the worst experience working with a company I have ever had. Our contract was to replace our dining room chair covers and touch up a couple of wood blemishes on the matching table. However, that was the farthest thing that happened. Our wood finish looks and functions completely different and will never be the same.
I have never refused delivery before this experience but I sent back what they delivered because the job was not only incomplete it was laughable. Someone left finger prints in the newly touched up wood finish (which they accused me of - even though I wasnt even touching the table's surface and their delivery people had to lift and carry the table to move it). The second time I sent it back there was a paint can ring stain near the center of the table.
In addition to poor quality the service was horrible as well. They wouldnt return calls until days later and then didn't show up for scheduled deliveries. After the forth delivery no-show, they finally came and delivered my large table and 6 chairs hours late and left them sitting on my front porch. The table took up the entire porch so I couldn't even open the door not to mention that I live in the city and it was a snowy winter day.
In the end, the chair covers look nice but the wood finish will never be the same. The wood mars easily as the finish is not meant for dining.
I wouldn't recommend this company unless you want to add additional stress in your life.
The WORST company I have ever worked with. I am 30 years old and have never had a worse experience. I wanted 2 cushions fixed. They returned 1. The second one I was lied to on multiple occassions, taking a total of 4 days off of work when lied to in order to receive delivery. In the end, my cushion was not fixed and I had to threaten to call the police to get my cushion back. Upon it not being fixed, I was told I would not be charged for this cushion, but my credit card has been charged the amount in full and they are refusing receipt. This is the worst company I have ever delt with in my entire life. If there's anything I could do to convince NO ONE to EVER work with this company and specifically Sam, I would do it. Work with anyone else you can find as this is the worst company. Shoddy work, blatant lies, stealing my property, etc. If it wasn't for threatening to call the police, I honestly belive they would have stolen my money and my property.
Great Upholstery & Plastic Cover Company. My parents used A Cover Factory several times throughout the years and loved their service. When I needed to re-upholster my sofa and chairs, my parents highly recommended them. On my parents' recommendation, I called them up. They came to my home to look at my furniture, showed me hundreds of fabrics, and offered me a competitive price (much less than replacing the furniture). I decided to use them and am very happy with my decision. They completed the project within a week as promised. I would also highly recommend A Cover Factory.
Best Re-upholstery company I ever used.. A Cover Factory made and installed slip covers for my sofa. I never had to leave my house to do business with them. It was quick and easy. I would highly recommend them.
Great Job! Very happy customer. Would Recommend.. We have used A Cover Factory many times and have always been happy with their services. They always delivered a quality job on time. Most recently, they reupholstered my sofa and chairs. My furniture looks better than ever at a fraction of what it would have cost me to replace it. I highly recommend them.
Extremely Poor Customer Service. A cover factory, inc. should be avoided at all costs... their customer service is extremely poor and they only have the option of visiting your home (you cannot drop an item off to them)... the other reviews on this site support my experience... if you are considering working with these people... you definitely want to reconsider...
