Sorta Good.
This is a really nifty concept, combining a movie theater with restaurant service. The ticket prices are comparable, if not a little cheaper, with most theaters in the area. The food is good. Not to die for or anything, just good. But the food and drink prices are very expensive! The service is okay. One person takes your order, then like three other people seem to bring your items out in stages. The original person that took your order might pop by once and ask if you would like anything else, but that?s about it. This is sort of a kid friendly place depending on the movie, of course. But place seems to frown upon kids. So I won?t be returning with my grandchildren.
It has a nifty atmosphere, ticket prices are not bad, food is nothing special but not bad, food and drink prices are expensive, the service staff honestly seems like they hate their job, and the place does not seem to be kid friendly.
Unique movie going experience. I went here to watch The Tourist with my wife (she loves her some Johnny Depp) and it was our first time coming here. There was some construction going on near the box office, which kind of made a bad first impression. We got our tickets and entered the main lobby and it is filled with a lot of movie memorabilia and decorations. We went to the bar and got some drinks while we waited to be seated. We didn't wait to long since we were on time. An usher announced that they were seating for our movie so we walked a really long hallway to our auditorium. Each theatre has a separate theme, which is nice. Inside our theatre there were chairs that I would best describe as office chairs. They were okay, not really comfy but not bad to spend two hours in, either. There was a lot of squeeking and creaking of chairs during the movie, which was kind of annoying. Anyway, they took our food orders before the movie started and then delivered the food durin the movie. It's not too disruptive, I guess. Definitely different than going to the local AMC or Cinemark theatre. The movie was not so good, and it's not Hollywood Blvd's fault. The price was okay, considering normal movie theatre concessions are already so expensive, at least you get real food here. My wife and I would definitely come back.
REALLY GREAT PLACE. YOU GET TO WATCH A MOVIE AND EAT AT THE SAME TIME. TOOK FAMILY THAT HAD NEVER BEEN THERE AND THE LOVED IT EVEN LITTLE KIDS, HAD A REALLY GREAT TIME WE GO ALL THE TIME AND THEY NOW HAVE A NEW ONE THE PALMS IN NAPERVILLE
The coolest place around to see a movie & eat!. Hollywood Blvd. is awesome - we always have so much fun when we go there! Whenever we take friends who haven't been there they're always amazed by how cool the place is and how surprisingly affordable it is! What a great way to have a night out - dinner and a movie, all at once! What we love is how the food comes out at different times (it's made fresh), so it's nice and hot when it comes to you. Never any problems, just good times had. It's the type of place you bring your whole family and all your friends. Superb customer service, great deals, yummy food and overall fun!
FUN. I had a blast at this theatre! The experience was better than the movie itself!. The food was good, but the drinks were even better!
