The Venue – A Broadway-sized space perfect for the most ambitious productions, the Shubert impresses the way any larger-than-life theater should, with ornate decor, spacious balconies, and a solid marble lobby. - Originally entitled the Majestic Theatre, the million-dollar palace opened on New Year's Day 1906 as the city's largest building. Since then, the building has changed hands many times, with the Nederlander Organization purchasing it in 1991.
