Overview – The Adler Planetarium is on the easternmost portion of the scenic Museum Campus, which also includes the Field Museum and the Shedd Aquarium. The planetarium includes dozens of hands-on exhibits that explain the workings of the universe, from faraway galaxies to our own sun and neighboring planets, plus historical walk-through exhibits chronicling the birth of modern astronomy. Free admission on Monday and Tuesday. An additional fee for shows applies.
Know Before You Go:
Admission is sold in packages, with discounts for Chicago residents. Admission plus one show is $16 for adults ($14 Chicago residents); $14 for kids ages 4-17 ($13 residents); $15 for seniors ($13 residents). Additional shows cost $5.
