Second Best. Still a good choice for Italian beef. The last time I ate there, the spice mix seemed extremely toned down. I miss the " old " sandwich.

One of the Best. Finally had a chance to eat at Luke's after hearing so much about their Italian Beef. I was very pleased with the Sandwich. Beef was tender and well seasoned. Bread was perfect and then "dipped". Overall, an excellent Sandwich. I have tried a number of different places looking for a great Italian Beef, and Luke's is at the top of the list. The fries were great too!

Luke's is decorated in the standard Americano-Italiano style: red chairs and red-and-white checked tablecloths, with green, red, and white signs on the walls. These guys don't stray far from the original formula for Italian beef--moist and subtly spiced meat cradled in a long roll. Try it naked, with no peppers, cheese or red sauce to distract the tastebuds. Along with the beef, Luke's offers pasta, Chicago-style pizza and weekly specials like a pepper-and-egg sandwich.

Not just for meat-lovers.... Great-tasting, tender eggplant sandwich. Lots of red sauce. My friend had the beef sandwich, which he really liked.

very good. Luke's has the best fries in the city, and their sandwiches are big. I have to eat there once a week, I'm addicted.

BIG BEEF!. The Italian Stallion beef sandwich is here! The beef sandwich is very juicy and hearty. It definatley fills you up. The portion is huge!

"Forget the rest try the best". I am a secretary in the loop and often place last minute lunch orders to Luke's. They are quick with delivery and the food always arrives hot. The extensive menu satisfies everyones taste buds. The portions are big. I recomend Luke's for dine in and catering.

"HERE IS THE BEEF". This place has the best burgers and french fries. The portions are huge and the prices are just right. Everything is homemade!
