Editorial Review for Thai Bowl – by Jennifer Olvera
In Short
UIC students and locals looking for something beyond the Little Italy offerings come here for quick bites, like crab rangoon, chicken satay cloaked in creamy peanut sauce and crispy egg rolls. Chicken, beef, shrimp and tofu pad thai are choice entrees, and lard nar gets a thumbs up from regulars as well. Others to try: sweet-and-sour chicken, red curry beef and fried rice.

ive ordered from here several times because the food is good and i dont know of other thai places but im about to fix that. it has always taken about 65-75 min to deliver and they are about a mile away. its horrrible delivery. so i tried to order today way ahead of when i even wanted it so it wouldnt seem like forever. i order the same thing every time and suddenly my total is much higher than usual.. so im asking why and he says im too far! im like noooo i order all the time and he says you want food or not and said no cancel thinking maybe they would say ok fine charge me the reg delivery charge.. i asked if they understood my address and he yells 'you want cancel !'and then the foocker hangs up on me. its the worst customer service and i will never order from there again. ever. i will find a new thai place and spent my money there. maybe if no one orders anymore they will get their shite together. horrible horrible horribile
Pros: food is good
Cons: horrible delivery, rude staff,

I have never eaten thai food before but I had heard that the food was "ok" so I decided to go and see what they had to offer. I ordered something that tasted terrible, so I went up to them (because they never came to see if everything was ok) and asked if I could exchange my dish for something different. Instead of exchanging my food they showed me their "NO EXCHANGE NO REFUND" policy. They told me that if I exchanged my food they would charge me double!!! I told them that I had never been there before and wasn't familiar with the menu, instead they said that the food must be paid for because they take it out of their paychecks. They began accusing me that it was my fault for not knowing the menu. This place doesn't embrace the concept that the "Customer is Always right" I worked for a fast food restaurant for 3 years and I heard plenty of a-holes complaint of the smallest things, but we always gave out refunds and we did do exchanges in case someone misspoke or had no idea what they where ordering, to keep customers happy and to have them come back. This place will not ever make it big with their philosophy of conducting business, eventually this place will be closed down due to the lack of customer service. Apart from that mayhem the kitchen looks really crowded and dirty from where you order and most of the cooks where either not wearing gloves or hairnets, which only made me sick to my stomach.
Pros: The other restaurants near by
Cons: everything else
