Family photos line the sage-colored walls at this storefront trattoria in the heart of Little Italy. Vesuvio-style dishes--prepared with lemon, garlic and olive oil--figure prominently into this menu of Italian pasta, seafood and meat offerings. Perfectly portioned starters such as the fried ravioli and calamari won't spoil the main course. Hearty entrees like apple breadcrumb-stuffed chicken breast and juicy chicken Florentine--both tender to the fork's touch--are worth sharing. Downstairs, seniors, kids and parents chat at wooden tables in the glow of white Christmas lights as Sinatra croons…
Rosal's is Wonderful!
by vs12345
A co-worker suggested RoSal's and we went there with friends for my birthday. It was totally worth it. It was just a little noisy, but in a good way: makes you feel at home/with friends and not loud enough to disrupt a conversation. The food was outstanding, grilled calamari are some of the best I've tried and the ravioli are simply the best. The service was wonderful: Linda is a very nice and friendly person who knows her stuff really well. Finally, the coffee and the desserts... M-m-m... I want to go back there NOW :).
By the way, I think it's a great place for a date. Permanently in my bookmarks.
- Pros: The food is amazing!
- Cons: None!
