Best place to hang around. Recently I've been on business in Chicago with my friends from USA Grant INC and we've stopped by Jaks Tap; a really good place with a nice service. I think we'll be going there some more when we'll have the time.

Great after work spot. I used to work a block away from Jaks Tap and several co-workers and I would

come here almost every other day after work.

I highly recommend Jaks for all the overworked Exec's

Hungry, loft-dwelling West Loop beer enthusiasts head to this casual brewpub.. Exposed timber, brick walls, an open floor plan and a comfortable, upscale pub feel attract neighborhood folks in search of a great suds selection. The main draw: affordable, award-winning ribs and an ever-evolving roster of 40 draft beers, some of them rare finds. Post-United Center sports or music fans get pumped up on Two Brothers pints and frozen raspberry-peach margaritas while munching on veggie chili, pan-Asian chicken salad, and pulled-pork sliders. A three-sided fireplace and retro bar add to the white-collar, 30-plus appeal. The chill feel--Muzak-propelled Sinatra and Marley are the backdrop for banal chatter--provides respite from the haughty and intense River North club scene.

Chili is delicious. I work right above Jak's, so I eat there all the time. Its really good. Salads are delicious, sandwiches are great, and the 6-gun chili is fabulous. Also, I am picky, and they are really good about letting me modify their choices. I definilty reccomend it.

Two thumbs up!!!. I have to rave about my favorite neighborhood bar. Great food, great service and a long list of beer to choose from. The 6-gun chili is fabulous! AND...they serve breakfast. Definitely worth checking out.
