This West Loop gallery showcases one-of-a-kind jewelry by designer-to-the-stars Tammy Kohl.. The Scene
Jewelry designer Tammy Kohl uses her shop as both a workshop--you can see her goldsmith at work behind a set of glass doors--and as a museum-like gallery showcasing her unique designs. This artist's haven off Randolph Street looks just as a gallery space should: brick walls, polished hardwood floors, track lighting, contemporary music. A changing display of work from artists around the country adorns the walls.

The Goods
Kohl's signature creation, the Takohl Treasure Ring, is a centerpiece of the collection. Made in sterling, gold or platinum, this locket-like ring opens to reveal engravings and gemstones. A newer signature item is the Takohl Treasure Amulet. These medieval-style pieces hold sentimental items like a lock of hair or a birthstone. Other styles range from classics, such as dainty engagement rings, to rock-n-roll glam pieces perfect for Kohl's celebrity clients like Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.
