Great Selection, Great Store. I moved to Chicago and before didn't really know anyone in the area. So I figured I'd get a video my first night here having no cable at all.

Within minutes I felt welcomed by the owner as he signed me up. Besides having a great video selection to choose from they also have some great games and deals too. I got a Rent 1 Get 2 free with my first rental. They even carry a wide selection of TV shows on DVD and they rent them by the season box instead of per disc. For no extra charge too. Well instantly I kicked in for my Doctor Who fix and rented those. While there I was discussing things with the staff who helped me learn about the neighborhood on everything from restaurants to shopping. I even was able to register to vote while there!

Soon I had my first good friends in this city and they have been more then helpful everytime I come in. I strongly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a great selection of videos or games.

Do You Smell That?. As good as Video Strip may be...it's gotten kind of bad lately. I will be straight about it, here are the things that could make it better and the things that make it bad: Employee and owner are unpleasant, rude at times, sloppy...customer service makeover please. I think a Video store should be exciting, have a pick of the week by random people. that rug has to go it's dated its dirty...Get Rid Of It!!! the dogs c'mon they do not belong in the store. Video Strip has two awesome windows (sorry your dog died) but could have some real cool displays. Last but not least the SMELL is so bad I hate to go in and sometimes lately I won't. WTF!! I'm sure us the customers could give you some awesome ideas and maybe help. You need to fix all that first. Also your dvds are always dirty clean that S!@*

Best Movie. Only place that you can rent the whole tv series for one price not just one disc at a time! Great cust service!!!!

Can't Find It? Gotta Have It?? They Got It!!!. This video store is unbelievable!!! Although small in size...inside is a BIG package!!! Many super deals for every holiday, season and month. This store has it all! Been a customer since 1997 and yet to be unsatisfied. The employees are knowledgeable and service is exceptional. Experience the "VIDEO STRIP" and YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Best Selection!!. I found out through a friend about The Video Strip years ago, they have a wide spread of dvd's and video games!! They are always 10 steps ahead of any other Dvd store I have ever been too, any and every movie you can imagine, they have it!!

Always something to rent!!!!. I have been going to Video Strip for years now, and I rent so much that I thought I would run out of movies to get, but I don't. Simply said.... Largest selection anywhere! I have been to Blockbuster, maybe 5 times, and I learned that The Video Strip is the place to rent from! I used my voters stub for my free rental yesterday too, where else can you do that? Too bad I moved out of the neighborhood... I still rent all the time though!

DVDs & Delivery, All that and a Bag of Chips!. This is the ultimate video store!!!!! I've been shopping here about 10 years ago & there's been all kinds of deals. From 1cent rentals. No...NOT A MISPRINT! 3 videos for $6.99 - $9.99 w/bag of chips. And So on....

Then there is their TV Shows & Deluxe Editions. The TV DVDs are rented by the season... NOT BY THE DISC. Huge saving compared to Blockbuster.

And get this....THEY DELIVER & PICK-UP your movies. So you never even have to leave the house.

I've rarely ever need to shop elsewhere. Sometimes I have mentioned they didn't have certain titles & they ordered them and brought them it!! The owner does listen to his customers.

Editorial Review. Bridgeport shop has a big selection of mainstream and hard-to-find rental DVDs; selection includes special editions, un-cut movies and more.

HUGE DVD SELECTION. WOW!!! They have just about everything. I was calling around looking for some oddball titles and someone recommended i try this place. It appears to be a small shop but they have a very large selection of DVDs. The largest I have seen! Thousands are here.
