In Short – It's the only accredited Latino museum in the United States, and since the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum was founded in 1982, it has developed as both a cultural center and a museum. Its permanent collection and exhibits are only a small part of what this self-described "art museum/performing arts center/educational center/community development hub" is all about. Exhibits change frequently and are as colorful as the murals you'll find everywhere in Pilsen.
