view & uploadThis is an amazing museum! One of the only accredited Mexican cultural museums in the nation, it is filled with interesting information celebrating the Mexican culture. This museum also expresses a concern for environmental issues and is a member of the Green Museum Initiative.
The museum has daily free admission and a strong collection of prints, paintings, folk art, and photography from all over Mexico.

A beautiful collection of Mexican art down in Pilsen. Especially known for their annual Day of the Dead exhibit.
Some of the finest in Mexican creativity from both sides of the border..
In Short
It's the only accredited Latino museum in the United States, and since the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum was founded in 1982, it has developed as both a cultural center and a museum. Its permanent collection and exhibits are only a small part of what this self-described "art museum/performing arts center/educational center/community development hub" is all about. Exhibits change frequently and are as colorful as the murals you'll find everywhere in Pilsen.
