Family-friendly restaurant serves up enormous portions of southern Italian favorites in a nostalgic setting..
In Short
Family-style portions and red-checkered tablecloths create a casual, congenial vibe, drawing families and large groups to this feast of Italian-American nostalgia set to a Sinatra soundtrack. The made-from-scratch menu is brimming with traditional dishes, from starters like fried calamari, Parmesan garlic bread and Tuscan-style mussels to spaghetti with meatballs and manicotti with chicken and spinach. For those with room to spare, a piece of sweet tiramisu and a strong cappuccino help finish the meal.
Great atmosphere & delicious dishes!. This is a great family-style restaurant that will make all palettes happy. Huge, delicious portions, wonderful variety and excellent service. My husband and I had our wedding here at the banquet rooms and Jeff G., our manager, was outstanding! He made the whole event planning process simple and amazing! Thank you Jeff!! Besides our wedding, every other meal here as well have all been great dining experiences.
WONDERFUL ITALIAN RESTAURANT.
Maggiano's Little Italy is absolutely delicious. There food is among some of the best Italian food I've had outside of Italy and as someone who has been to Italy four times that's saying something. The stuffed mushrooms are mouth watering, and the garlic bread is so good you want to lick your fingers. The Pesto Linguini with Chicken is one of my personal faves but everything there is wonderful. And what ever you do save room for dessert! It's worth every calorie and gram of fat. The portions are huge but you can always take it home for later or for someone else. The prices are very reasonable and make you wonder how they stay in business with such huge portions. They also have a good size wine selection as well as plenty of mixed drink choices too. The service is always friendly and eager to please. They can make your meal go as fast or as slow as you want depending on your needs. The restaurant has fun, lively, and warm feel to it. It's great for groups or a date. I highly recommend it.

so so. they feed you a lot. but the food is just not spectacular. if you ask me, buca di peppo is MUCH better. the service was decent, except i was late & when i got there we asked for more bread & olive oil for me & she tells us "now you have a lot of food coming, don't eat too much bread." it was sort of insulting, and at the least annoying. she did, i believe, though throw in a free dessert for our group. all in all, decent & probably something to experience, but not as wonderful as others have said, in my opinion.
I can't say enough about this place..
I cant say enough about this place. I get to try restaurants all over the country and this is my favorite Italian place. I make a point is visiting them whenever I am in town.
This is a great dish that is no longer on the menu Country Sausage and Rigatoni, in a chicken broth, with broccoli and Roma tomatoes. Ask for it and they will make it for you still. Its worth the hassle to convincing your waiter to ask the chef. Only order the half portion its impossible to finish the full. Call for reservations or be prepared for a long wait at the bar.
THE BEST EVER. I just love the place great food and great service. I love that famous people have visit and the peopleare so friendly. If I ever come back I will go each time I just love the place. the best I ever had in a long time
User review by butchj. The food was great. A little crowded every time but i guess it was the food. They give you a lot of food.
Authentic Italian???.
This place has decent apetizers, and very good salads.
Entrees are not good. Pastas are marginal.
Biggest complaint is the reservation policy. An eight o'clock reservation usually gets you seated about eight forty- five. They don't care, no comp deserts or anything.
You can do much better unless you live in Clinton, Ia.
Great atmosphere. I have been to many italian restaurants and usually don't feel comfortble getting too far away from spaghetti or lasagna but here I very much enjoyed the chicken parmesiana and all the different appetizers that we tried. The whole dinning experience was perfect and our waiter had some good italian suggestions for me and my date. The bartender was nice as we waited for our table and we never had to wait for our glasses to be refilled. I thought the prices were very reasonable as well. Overall, the ambiance and the food was way above average. Maybe it will sound like i work there or have a stake in the restaurant but I whole heartedly recommend this restaurnant and will go back again!
