Good pasta at a reasonable price!. Our food was delicious, all of our pasta came in HUGE bowls, so much that we ended up doggy bagging it!

The fettucine is good, but very very rich. The bread is soft and is delicious. The employees out on the floor were very nice and attentive, we even had a bus-boy clean our table up for us before we sat down, great customer service on his part. The cashier wasn't too friendly, but she wasn't rude either....mediocre.

Recommended for anyone who wants to eat quick and somewhat cheap downtown.

BEST cheap Italian meal in Chicago!!. This place is great, the food is delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is wonderful and the meals are priced well.

I can't recommend Barnelli's enough, especially their carbonara pasta, it is mouthwatering!

This salad-and-pasta counter shares space--and owners--with Portillo's. Memorabilia from old Chicago crams the place: An old car hangs from the ceiling, and old photos and Depression-era signs adorn the walls. The menu offers a dozen pastas, salads, ribs and hand-tossed thin-crust pizzas. Entrees include fettucine Alfredo with chicken and a chopped salad with chicken, bacon, tomatoes, Gorgonzola, onion and red cabbage.
