“Great time with wonderful food and fun.”
“However, if you like the crust this is one amazing pie.”
“And they've got a nice variety of draft beers on hand to keep your thirst quenched.”
“Best pizza ever!”
“And they've got a nice variety of draft beers on hand to keep your thirst quenched.”
“Gino's pizza tends to be a bit saucy and runny, but it's a good deal and not a bad place to eat.”
“Went there on our honeymoon and WOW what fun - the service is great, pizza phenomenal and we had more pizza than we could eat and easy on the pocket book.”
“Their pizza, in my opinion is the best anywhere, as well as their other items on the menu, I had only stumbled across this treasure on a visit downtown and was lured in by the huge line, a definite sign that something good was on the other side of the wal”
“The toppings are generous and after a long day of shopping on Michigan Avenue it is the perfect delivery to the room!”

Don't even pretend you're not gonna stuff yourself silly here. Go Chicago-style (I love the sausage-topped version) and regret nothing.
Gino's East offers the deepest pizza, with heavy sauce and ingredients. It's like the Mona Lisa of Chicago pizzas and taste incredible. Bring the family and friends - no one will talk until the meal is done because you will be in love with each bite. Absolutely incredible.

Pizza that will fill the soul and sit like a brick! Be prepared for a nap...go for the meaty legend!
Not worth the hype at all. Chicago is a “pizza” town and sadly so many of my friends when they come to town want to try Ginos. I took my friends here recently and was disappointed yet again. I wish I understood why this place gets so much attention, the pizza is just plain bad. The deep dish… it’s a combo of chewy-greasy-over and under cooked all at the same time “thing” that will sit like a rock in you. To be fair, I still have never tried their thin crust, and if I ever go again… I’ll have to see if the thin is better.
great chicago pizza. I have had several type pizzas around the us and this is one of the greatest pizzas and friendly service.
AWFUL. The starters were greasy...greasy, greasy...The pizza was undercooked with raw topings....The side salad was brown lettuce and one onion ring...We were left waiting for over 40 mins....The food is way over-priced... We had fine dining meals which were better value!!!!!We were all ill afterwards.....
Worst Pizza I've Ever Had!.
We went in to the one on Superior and ordered a large, 3 topping DD pizza, and cheesy bread for carry out. Cost's were conveniently not posted, but hey, it's just pizza right. WRONG. We were rung up and told the price was over $45.00!!! Yes, I could have left, but we were hungry, and it's famous...so...the fool in me paid, and was told to wait for the next 45 minutes in a corner of a hallway with 1 chair (and 5 people waiting).
The place was filthy, the cooking staff was spending more time eating and talking than working (including the manager on duty). Over 1 hour later our pizza arrived. We we're rudely "shoved off" as though we were miscreants for ordering carry-out.
Back in the hotel, I can honestly say it was one of the worst pizza's I've ever had. It was closer to eating cornmeal lasagna than any pizza. It had sickly sweet sauce, and even after an hour the crust was still undercooked.
I'd complain to the restaurant management, but I'm sure all I'd get is an "are you talkin? to me?"
Trust me when I tell you to avoid this tourist trap at all costs. It?s a HUGE rip off!
Chicago's best deep dish.
What's not to like about delicious deep dish pizza [unless you don't like grease!]
Try it with mushrooms and extra cheese! Yum!
I also like cheesecake for dessert. If you visit Chicago, you gotta check out Ginos!
Great pizza, but i prefer the thin. These guys know pizza. While I'm not a fan of the deep dish anywhere (other than the funky version at Chicago Pizza Co), I do enjoy good thin crust. This is thicker than many thins, but still delish. I had a spinach pizza and it rocked.
Used to be good. Bad Owners. This place used to be great. Number One! But now, Cheap cheese just made to look stretchy, cheap ingredients and overpriced. Whoever owns Gino's now clearly deals in volume over quality. I'll go to Malnati's for real italian deep dish. Leave this place for tourists who don't know any better.
Legendary Indeed!. The service was great. Our water glasses were never empty. Great menu! Deep dish pizza takes a while to cook, but well worth the wait! Interesting atmosphere (you get to write on the walls). Awesome, awesome pizza.
