“It has a great atmosphere and the pizza is incredible.”
“The pizza is delicious, but save room for dessert!”
“There is a wait, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, but there's a bar, friendly bartenders, and it's about 20-45 minutes.”
“This works in NY where rushing the pizza means only the difference between a perfect slightly blackened crust and done, but for Lou's this rude rushing means the difference between perfect and soggy.”
“We went to the bar and were blown away by their extensive beer listing - all 8 of them, all lagers.”
“This is a great place for people that live in the neighborhood.”
“have traveled throughout the US and have eaten in many restuarants, only to come back to Chicago's own and deem it the best pizza anywhere.”
“Totally recommend that as the way to go because the service at the restaurant I go to always is below par.”
“The prices are resonable while having the best pizza in the city.”
“bad pizza, bad service and too long of a wait.”
Lou Malnati's is the quintessential pizzeria and I love the place with my heart. Awesome saucy and thick pizza with traditional ingredients, served hot and placed on your plates by the servers. Good service abounds at all their locations and the cornmeal touched crust is heaven.

If something could be better than wine, chocolate, sex and reality television COMBINED it would be the cornmeal crust Chicago pizza @ Lou's.
first time with lou.
I tell you it was awesome.
My first time with Lou Malnati's was amazing pizza
Loved it!!!!!
THE Best Pizza chicago has to offer. For all you out of towners looking to experience Chicago-style pizza, go here. It is the real deal.
good. This is a perfect lunch spot for folks who work around the Merchandise Mart. The personal pizzas plus a salad are ready to go
They're thin-crust is to die for!. I'm quite the pizza snob @ this point and I simply love their thin-crust. Even the simple cheese thin-crust is absolutely de-lish!!!
Most Authentic Deep Dish!. This place has the best pizza! I swear I could eat it for the rest of my life! It's just flakey enough, just crunchy enough, and just gooey enough to warm your heart! Once you try it the cravings will start! Love it!
Deep Dish Pizza All theWay. I work relatively close to Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, and if I could eat there everyday, I would. I especially go there for the dish deep pizza - I can't get enough. Anyone looking for delicious food at a great price should head to Lou's Pizzeria.
Not so good. We ordered a large deep dish, and I have to tell you that I have been horrible disappointed lately with Chicago Pizza. Somebody recommended this place and I was not happy. First, I noticed there was hardly any sauce and i asked for an extra order. What she brought was a bowl of tomatoes from a can. No seasoning, no garlic, and I was like Miss you just brought me some whole tomatoes from a can. She responds "that is what we use for the sauce". It taste like it. If you like spicy, well seasoned food this is not the place for you. If Salt and pepper is the only thing you might put on your food, you still might find this place bland. There has to be a better place in town for pizza then here!!! For your sake look elsewhere.
Its not Lou Malnati's, its Digiorno!.
honestly, Chicago pizza is better in Berkley CA than here. Terrible veggies, i swear they came from a frozen veggies bag. Line was forever, the dessert tho was good. So we tipped 20% for the portion that we enjoyed, the $5 cookie.
Give it a miss, it sucked, not at all worth it. Zachary's in Berkley, THATS WORTH IT! Good quality ingredients are always a good start. I would have been happier with domino's than Lou's. But I loved when my lady told the waiter "Its not Lou Maldani's, its Digiorno!" Best line ever!
Sadly Disappointing. We have enjoyed Lou Malnati's pizza from the Lincolnwood restaurant for many years. We had noticed over the last year that both the deep dish pepperoni and the thin crust deluxe - what we normally order - were not near as tasty as in the past. However, last evening we ordered both for delivery. The sausage on the thin crust deluxe was so non-existant that my husband thought I had ordered a vegetarian pizza. The little bit of sausage that we did manage to find was tasteless. The deep dish pepperoni was awful - the crust was not good at all, the sauce non-descript and pepperoni was disgusting. And even though, at my daughter's wishing, we had ordered extra cheese, there wasn't near the amount that there used to be. What has happened over the last few years for Lou's pizza to go from really good to so awful? Were they jinxed by an appearance on the Food Network channel? After 25 years, we will never go there again or order for delivery.
YUM YUM YUM. This is by far the best deep dish in Chicago! Yes, it takes a long time to cook, and is a little pricey, but well worth the buck and the wait. When I moved to Florida for a few years, I always had Lou Malnati's shipped to me from Chicago because it's my fav! Try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed. YUMMY!
