Best dive EVER!!. This is my new home away from home! The best burgers and the best service and atmosphere I've experienced in a bar in a LONG time! Thanks Shamrock!

This jovial dive is one of few laid-back after-work stops, where a beer is just a beer.. The Scene
This burger-and-beer joint has only been around since the early '90s, but it feels like a neighborhood institution, especially considering the number of regulars. Just across from the Merchandise Mart, this is a convenient spot for hanging out over lunch or a wind-down after-work drink. A pool table in back and several tattered board games provide diversion. The smoke-filled atmosphere leaves air for little else, but it is what it is. Service is very down-to-earth and friendly.

The Draw
The food menu's limited to sandwiches and burgers, basic salad and typical fried appetizers. But you'll get away cheap, as prices stay in the single digits. While standard, the food is ample and tasty and is delivered quickly enough to justify a lunch-hour visit.
