Editorial Review for O'Callaghan's – by Peter Behle
The Scene
A traditional Irish bar is what you get here--plenty of wood furnishings, a long bar, on the quiet and dark side, with Guinness on tap. Service is pleasant, though no one seems in a rush to get food or beverages served. It's not a sports bar in the traditional sense, but there are enough TVs so you won't miss the big game.
The Draw
Most come here for a drink and a bit of peace and quiet, away from the hustle of downtown. Lunch and dinner are done quite nicely. Burgers are big and juicy, as is the patty melt (with cheese and grilled onions). Some go for the chicken Caesar pita, served in a nifty metal holder so the contents don't spill all over the plate. Salads are made with boring iceburg lettuce, but the blackend chicken spices it up nicely.

This is a no frills pub that's perfect for lunch or drinks after work. The burgers aren't too greasy, but full of taste and the service was attentive.
