This River North joint is perfectly situated to be an after-work hangout.. In Short
The largely male clientele perches at the bar or shoots pool at the table in the back. There are five TVs hung from the ceiling, but the boys are usually watching the bartenders, who are invariably tall, whip-thin blondes trying to affect a "Coyote Ugly"-esque bravado (sans the bartop dancing). The music is a mix of classic rock and 1990s alternative tunes. There's a menu of burgers, pizzas and appetizers available for eating there, delivery or takeout.

A Mystery to Me. From being served the wrong drink to dirty tables to waiting 20 minutes for Wings that never came.

I don't think it could get any WORSE!

Eye Candy - Strong Drinks. The one thing better than the strong drinks they pour at the BOSS are the ladies that are serving them up. Great atmosphere. I feel like I'm back in a NYC neighborhood bar.

Bar Owner's Theory:Hot Bartenders=$$$. Good bar for a couple drinks with friends after work. The friendly & attractive bartenders quickly distract your attention away from the run down atmosphere (which has improved since some post-fire remodeling). Tip well=get treated well. Save your dinner for a local restaurant for the kitchen is a little shady.
