The Scene
Though this tiny and unassuming shop is in trendy River North and around the corner from North Michigan Avenue, its clientele is ladies who lunch--for less. Don't be shy pawing the merchandise looking for that slightly worn Marc Jacobs jacket treasures; the sales staff doesn't do much more than gossip.
The Goods
From Armani to Yves St. Laurent, Designer Resale has all the big names in fashion. Find an Jil Sander coat for the price of champagne brunch, a Chanel gold sequined dress for less than a weekend in the Hamptons or a Donna Karan suit that leaves you with change for a matching purse. Imelda Marcos would weep at the prices on Prada mules and Adrienne Vittadini sling backs.
