I didn't want to leave!

I stayed in one of the suites - far too big for one person - two walk-in closets! Very elegent lobby. We had a wonderful meal in the Pump Room. It's close to the Magnificent Mile, the John Hancock Bldg, ESPN Zone. Luxurious, yet comfortable. A wonderful experience!

  • Pros: Very comfortable, Friendly staff, Great health club
  • Cons: Hidden gift shop, slower check-in

Out of the way

I booked a room here through Hotwire, so it was a bargain at their rates. Nice hotel, but a bit off the beaten path. Not too far from the Division Street crowd, but it is a little north of everything else. They were working on the elevators during my stay, so wait were a bit long! Room was very nice, thoug just a bit tight. The staff was friendly, but not at all helpful when trying to find a self-park spot instead of the $16/day valet parking offered by the hotel.

Suite Stay

by sbbirnbaum

We had a great stay with our toddler at the Omni. The neighborhood is beautiful, there was a playground nearby, and overall it was a very nice environment. We got a suite with two rooms on the 12th floor, and a bag of toys for our daughter. Sign up for the preferred guest service and you get free coffee/juice and a newspaper delivered to your room for free. Then, skip ordering any food and get breakfast treats from the Corner Bakery nearby instead.

  • Pros: Room size, Value, Location
  • Cons: One elevator broken, Exterior construction
