Great hair and makeup artists treat each client as an individual. They know it's important to understand the client's lifestyle and personal perception of beauty. Then, through years of crafted technique, natural creativity and artistic vision, the artist unlocks the client's potential for beauty and makes it a reality. It's really quite simple. Or is it? One thing is certain. We're not all alike.

The Space – Beyond a bright storefront, a wide horseshoe comprising a reception desk/retail area, smock room and mirrored hair-cutting stations defines a spacious salon area. The upbeat chatter of in-the-know regulars and hip-but-friendly staffers echoes across magazine-strewn seating up the center of the room to the ample shampoo section in the rear. Downstairs, candlelit spa treatment rooms seem a world away from the bustle, save for the occasional footsteps across the wood floor above or faint strains of urgent intercom-pages. – – The Services – Though hair…
Professional & Friendly Staff, Relaxing Atmosphere
by clark3608
I have been going to Parto's since January (2007). The staff is friendly, they greet you at the door, offer you beverages, and if you are there on Saturdays, they cater in breakfast which is a bonus.
Steven Deer is my stylist and in my experience, most stylist are stronger in some areas but not others. I can honestly say though that whether your hair is long or short and regardless of the texture, he is artistic, precise, a color guru, and a perfectionist. His versatility makes him a true master at what he does, I have seen him style anything from long shoulder length hair to a short spiky mohawk. He listens, gives his feedback on what looks best for you but his ultimate goal is to please his clients. I would highly recommend him....
- Pros: Downtown Location - Easy to get to after work
Good downtown location.

best hair cuts, friendly staff

I finally found a great hair salon. Its been ages since I've been truly happy with my hair cut--my stylist actually listened to me and gave good suggestions--like changing the way I part my hair (who would've thought the difference that can make?!). The best part is that I can manage to make my hair look good at home. I'll be going back to try one of their colorists and perhaps a massage too. I highly reccomend anyone to check them out for a great hair style and inviting atmosphere.

Know Before You Go:
Though services and retail merchandise can be charged to your credit card, gratuities cannot be; so bring cash. There's an ATM outside of North Community Bank, caddy-corner to the salon-spa, if you find yourself in a pinch.
Look Good:
You can schedule an initial consultation and haircut with the man himself, Parto Naderi, for a few--OK, 35--dollars more than a regular designer visit will cost you; it's only $5 more expensive after that.
The Extras:
Parto Naderi staff is also happy to help choose the right products for you to keep that look up long after your appointment. From an array of top quality products from Kerastase, Bumble and Bumble, L'oreal, Dermalogica and OPI, they'll find what fits you best.
