Personal service and an all around great haircut!. I want to thank the stylists at Mireya's for not only great personal service, but a great haircut. Just how I wanted it. They didn't just cut it -- they styled it and helped me along the way with suggestions. This is the FIRST time I was ever treated with this much attention at a hair salon! Usually, it;s just Hello -- Cut - Leave.

They really took the time to give me a style that fit my personality! (and the ladies love it....).

My Hair Fell OUT!. My sister goes to this salon all of the time, and she has never had a problem. She recommended that I go there for a haircut, so I decided to give it a shot. My sister normally has the daughter cut her hair, but I had the mother do mine. She was so rough with the scissors. I felt like she was going to leave me bald when she was done. By the time she was done, I had a decent basic cut. Within the next week something was wrong. I had my other sister check the part of my head that was itching and sweating, and was horrified by what she found. I missed work the next day and went to the doctor. My doctor told me that I had a cut on my scalp surrounded by a large rash. The sweating was actually pus from the infection. I do not know exactly where the cut on my scalp came from or what caused the infection, but I have my suspicions. I spent the next 2 weeks on antibiotics and clumps of my hair actually fell out. This SITUATION had never occured before, nor has it happened since. The only thing that I did different before this SITUATION was get a haircut at Mireyas, so I can only assume that my SITUATION began there. My sister loves the place, and her hair normally looks great. My only advice to you is to get the daughter not the mother as your stylist and make sure that they clean their supplies in front of you.
