Terrible service. I just had a horrible experience with Bridesmart. I went in for alterations on a bridesmaid dress that had been bought from out of town. They charged an outragous amount but I went with it because I didn't have any other alternatives, I am new to the area and wasn't sure about the smaller, dry-cleaner places and no other bridal stores would do it. The manager assured me no work would be done on the dress until Friday and my visa would be charged at that time.

Later that evening I found out I could have it done for more than half the price Bridesmart had offered. Lest than 24 hours later I call and cancelled, mind you this was a Thursday. The manager informed me there was a $35 pinning fee that I would be responsible for. This was never stated before, during or after my fitting nor posted anywhere in the store. Who charges $35 for pinning and doesn't mention it until after the service is completed? I was willing to pay 20% of the alteration fee for canceling but they insisted on the full amount and used the excuse they already started the job which they were not suppose to do. The lady was very rude and condesending. I have recently become engaged and will not be going there again and I will tell all my engaged and soon to be engaged friends to stay away. Rude, terrible service and very unprofessional.

Save yourself a lot of headaches....shop somewhere else.. They quoted me one price for alterations on my daughter's prom dress. Several days later, and only a few days before her prom, they called and said they made a mistake, and that the alterations would be $135 MORE! I had a signed contract from them that they would not honor. This was only a prom dress...I would NEVER bring a wedding party to this place.
