Feeling beautiful

I love my visits with Minoo. The following day I always feel beautiful. Even without make up. She is so incredibly personable and listens not only to thoughts about hair and brow, but meaningful things as well. She evaluates and appreciates any natural beauty attributes and creates effortless ways to bring out what has been given to you. It is easy to relax in her chair and I trust her; she does not try to make you up into what you are not. She has a wonderful sense of this. Probably something that has come with time and maturity.

Aveda products are the best for me. I do not leave there feeling my hair has been assaulted even though it has gone through considerable processing. My hair feels tenderly and gently cared for. The color stays fresh looking until the next touch up.

Her prices seem comparable to any other Aveda Salon. We would all like to pay Great Clips prices and acquire the benefits of high end products and services, but it just does not work like that. It is worth it to me to get a customized style that works with my hair type, age, and lifestyle. Other salons have repeatedly disappointed me by failing to acknowledge my stubborn curls/waves, my actual age, and applied their youthful ideas regarding color.

The salon itself has a warm simple feel like someone's home and Minoo tops that off with her personable style and I feel invited and cared for. To me, that is worth ten times more than posh surroundings molded to make one feel special. With Minoo, I feel pampered inside and out. It is a comfortable place to settle in with a beautiful person who knows her stuff professionally.

I have been offered tea and beverages but declined; that is not why I go there but it is nice to know a drink is available if desired. Sometimes I notice there is some music in the background; other times I just notice the phone ringing. Sometimes we are chatty and sometimes we are quiet, in a good way. Again, it feels like going to a friend's house. There is nothing more that I could ask for regarding my salon experience.

Interestingly, I read reviews before trying her out. I noticed rave reviews and thought to myself that she urged her family and friends to boost her image. I was skeptical. However, I did realize that there was next to nothing regarding bad reveiws. And to me, this speaks volumes because it is difficult to shut up an outraged or disappointed client. So with that, the absence of bad reviews, I thought she was worth a go. I am so glad that I did it. And rest assured that this review is the real deal.

BTW, she is great with brow waxing. She seems to have an artistic flare to creating beautiful feminine arching brows. And her wax is not so scaldingly hot that it takes days of looking like a freak to recover. At Minoos my brows are mildly pink for a few hours and then beautiful.

I hope I encouraged someone to try Minoo's salon. She is special and she might be just what you need. I wish every reader the best in all things.

Come for a Spa Experience

Minoo's Salon is a relaxing way to get a great cut from the owner/stylist and long lasting color with Aveda products. She starts with a scalp massage while classical music may be playing in the background. The cut is always great and Minoo just knows what will work best for you. I have been a customer for over 10 years.

Minoo gives a great haircut and will take the time to make it just right. She is talented and has many years of experience. She provides a quiet, friendly environment and an oh, so wonderful scalp massage with every cut!

Great Salon!

Minoo has been my stylist for 12 yrs now and I couldn't be happier. She is talented, has a warm personality and takes her time with clients. I get many compliments on my hair and I know that it because the cut and color is quality (at affordable prices). I always feel relaxed when I leave her salon because of the atmosphere she creates and the Aveda products she uses

No one knows hair like Minoo

I have never had a more skilled stylist than Minoo, nor such a wonderful, caring individual who always makes her customers feel better when they leave her shop than when they came in. I have been going to Minoo for over 12 years, and I would change doctors, dentists, lawyers and accountants before I would leave her. The absolute BEST in the business!
