I can’t say enough about Villi and the entire team at Christopher Duquet. I looked and looked for the perfect resetting of my engagement ring and found something near perfect at Christopher Duquet. Villi helped me make the design my own and included stones from a family heirloom. Everything went perfectly and under budget! I highly recommend.

I almost didn't go to Christopher Duquet because I assumed it would be way too much for my modest budget...but meeting an employee, Terran, randomly outside the store, she convinced me to come in to see about getting a wedding band designed for an antique engagement ring. Terran clarified my ideas, fit the project into my budget, and all in a very short timeline. All the staff, Christopher included, were so accommodating and skilled. And the band is gorgeous, true to the design of the engagement ring...and I had fun working with them. Without reservation, I will return for anything I need in the future. (I did fall in love with their original designs will visiting!)

The entire staff of Christopher Duquet Fine Jewelry has been knowledgeable and personable. One feels like one is in good hands upon entering the shop. Christopher Duquet and his staff want to do their best not only for you as a customer, but for the jewelry as well. Their approach demonstrates their commitment and dedication. When I was younger, I used to go to Christopher’s store and play with my sister while my mom and dad shopped. It is hard to believe that when my husband and I needed to look for rings, Christopher’s is the first and only place we went. Everyone in the store is friendly, kind, and an absolute pleasure to interact with. They never make you feel out of place or uncomfortable. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Christopher. He treats you like you are the most important person he could talk to each and every time you are there. There is no other place you could or should go to get this exquisite, one of a kind jewelry. Needless to say, my husband and I are beyond happy with everything we have purchased from him (engagement ring and two wedding bands). Like my parents before me, I am happy and lucky to say I am confident this is a relationship I will continue for years to come. Thank you Christopher and your staff for everything

I recently bought an engagement ring from Christopher Duquet and my fiancé absolutely loves it. I went in with a decent idea of what I wanted and Villi worked with me to design the ring I wanted. My fiancé absolutely loves it. She says its better than anything she could imagine. I was extremely pleased with all of my interactions with people at Christopher Duquet. Everyone was really easy to work with and communicate with. I will definitely be recommending Christopher Duquet to any of my friends that are in the market for a ring.

Best Possible Experience. I contacted Christopher in early March while in search of a jeweler that creates custom engagement rings. I set an appointment over the phone and was intending on it being a rather short interaction, basically just look at some of his work, discuss prices, and head home.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this experience would be different. Christopher and his staff were very warm and receptive to me, and our first conversation felt like catching up with an old friend. We discussed what I was looking for, the relationship itself, and eventually we sketched out some ideas right then and there.

The Ring: So, the basic idea was I had my grandmother's original wedding ring from the 40's, and I wanted to utilize some of the stones to create a new and unique piece. My fiance' is not really into diamonds, so we created a piece that had the diamond from my grandmother's ring as the center stone, and then two magnificent sapphires set on each side. Also, on the outside of the 3 main stones, we would cross set 6 smaller diamonds (2 on each stone). Christopher told me he'd draw up a computerized image, and he'd email it to me in a day or two. The next day, I had it in my inbox, and I immediately approved the production. Then, about a week later, the ring was done.

To put it bluntly, the ring is unbelievable.

I've never been so satisfied when purchasing anything in my life. As a business owner in Chicago, I have nothing but the utmost respect for Christopher and his work.

The best part? Christopher created the ring within a very tight time window, and, it was under budget. Perfect.

Highly Recommended!!!!!. I cannot say enough good things about Christopher Duquet and his team. Initially, I went to Christopher to talk about hiding an ugly engagement ring behind some of his beautiful wedding bands. But Christopher wanted me to be completely happy with the entire set and convinced me to start fresh with a new engagement ring. From the onset, Christopher stressed that he wanted me to be happy with the ring. He reassured me every step of the way that I would get exactly what I wanted for my ring. He had a CAD drawing made within a few weeks so I could get more of a feel of what the ring looks like.

When I went in for my first fitting, I worked with Villi, who was so sweet and understanding. I wasn’t happy with the diamond I had picked out the week before. She could tell I was hesitant and said it needs to be prefect and that they would look for another diamond I was happy with. Now I know this was a pain for them, but they truly wanted to make me happy! I know jewelers are salesmen, but I never got this from Christopher. I gave him my budget and he worked his magic to stay within it.

So after another diamond search, my ring was going to be ready in 2 weeks. My boyfriend called and asked if they could have it ready a week early as a surprise to me. I had waited 2 months for a new ring and I was so anxious. And of course they delivered! The ring is so amazing. It’s been about a month since I’ve gotten my ring and still can’t stop staring at it. Every little detail of the ring is perfect. I seriously can’t find a mistake in the ring. It has engraving on all sides of the band and even on the tiny horizontal bars in between the prongs. They didn’t leave any details out. My ring is truly a piece of art.

Please please please….end your jeweler search right here. I will recommend Christopher Duquet to anyone and everyone. I can’t wait to go back and get my wedding band!

A great, great experience. Christopher came recommended to us by 2 different people. They did not steer us wrong. My fiance and I were both clueless about diamonds (and it was evident), but Christopher was patient and took the time to educate us both. We never felt that he was anything but honest. He's a great listener and just a great, great person. I didn't want a traditional engagement ring, just a nice diamond band. Christopher's design-- my ring-- is absolutely spectacular, and I get compliments on it all the time as it is very unique. Don is still with me all the time thanks to you, Christopher.

Fantastic Experience. After my first discussion with Christopher, I knew I had come to the right place. We sat down and discussed exactly what I had in mind for an engagement ring. Christopher took the time to listen to my requests and sketched out a drawing that was unique and perfect for my fiance's personality.

I told Christopher my price range and he was able to make it work. I never felt pressured. Everyone at the store is very friendly and knowledgeable. They all take pride in what they do.

The ring is incredible and my fiance gets compliments from everyone! We are planning to design wedding bands and look forward to seeing what Christopher has to offer.
