Best Beef in Chicagoland. Period.

I've been a Chicagoan all my life and there is no better greasy beef joint in the state, period. Other reviews calling Novi's beef "ordinary" or "premade" are clearly written by morons. If you had ever eaten there, you could see the massive slicing machines in the back which are always running. The beef is so spicy and tender. Sometimes you'll get a chunk of meat which is unfortunate, but worth the trip every time.

• Pros: Best Beef Sandwich ever; very affordable
• Cons: Kind of dingy.

Best Beef

This place has always been one of my favorites for their Italian Beef. The beef is spicier than most in Chicago but has a great flavor. Definately worth the trip!

Not memorable

I have only been here once. I like to go more than once just to give places a fair shot. It was nothing special. Generic beef (A generic beef is one that has the same basic ingredients that you will find at any pizza/beef shop that chooses to drop some beef in ajue. Giardiniera is store bought. And the bread is the same.) but with different giardiniera that was oily and did not have a great taste.
