Tips for Eagle Uniforms

Great Experience there as well. First time there, needed to get some cadet pants. Didn't have the color I needed, but the older gentleman working there took my size, got an exact pair in another color and had me try them on to make sure they fit perfect. Showed me all the pockets, flaps, etc on the pants.

Really appreciated the few extra minutes he spent with me.

Will definately be using them as my uniform store after academy.

Had a great experience. Everyone was very helpful. And, "no" I do not work there.

Been very helpful. I have been a customer of Eagle Uniform for over 20 years.

I have never had any problems. Whenever I have brought anything in they have gotten it back to me really fast. I always found everyone in the store to be very helpful and pleasant.

MISERABLE EMPLOYEES. Previous posting by ceebird and pommymom are obviously written by the employees themselves because as you can see by the rest of the postings that Eagle Uniform is full of employee who are a bunch of jerks. If I treated them on a traffic stop the way they treat people when they come in there they would be the first jag offs to write a complaint about an officer. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO PEOPLE SKILLS IN THIS PLACE AT ALL. Ever heard of a smile? TRY IT!!! I have had to buy from this store on 4 different occasions only out of pure necessity because I needed something "NOW" and I did not have the time to drive to oherrons. EVERY Firefighter and Cop I talk to has the same feelings about this place. And the prices, of course they are still in business. All Eagles has to do is sell about ten items and they have covered their overhead and salaries because of the price mark-ups there. Eagles needs to retire the OLD grouchy employees they have and hire some new younger more energetic and friendly people. And to their surprise, if they would lower their prices they would actually make more money than they do now. If your confused by that theory, then get education and try taking a public budgeting class or something that actually makes you use a few brain cells you morons!!!!!

High prices and ignorant sales staff. These guys are absolutely ridiculus. They feel they are the only game in town so they can charge any price they want and treat their customers badly, and if they don't like it tough. I would definitely drive the time and distance to O'herrons or any other store just to avoid the discourteous staff and overpriced goods.

Eagle Uniform IS The Best!. Yes the prices here are high, but the service here is GREAT and close to home. They have always been very nice, polite and helpful to me every time I go there, and it's been years. I have never had any problems with any of their uniforms, shoes, etc. I've gone to AJ's, O'Hearons and Kales, and those places are HORRIBLE! The people in those places are NOT friendly, helpful and seem to 'hurry you along'. And AJ's? It was the worst of them all! Talk about rude clerks. I went there once, and while the sales clerk and I were in the middle of getting what I needed, SHE just put my stuff down and walked away, saying how she has to take care of this Chicago Police Officer first, and left me standing in the middle of the store while she took care of him. Needless to say, I walked out and never went back.

Bad customer service and high prices!!. This is the worst uniform store I have ever been to. The owner was very rude to another police officer that came in to buy something at the last minute. He basically kicked him out , stating that they were closed. However, hadn't even checked out yet. I put my items down and walked out.

And the prices are way too high!!!

Terrible Customer Service. These people at Eagle Uniform have to be the worst in customer service. They act like they expect us to purchase their products, which are far higher priced than most. I was being help by one of the sales people and I said, "Hello!" to the owner. He would not even acknowledge me. I couldn't believe that I was giving him money and how rude he was. Go somewhere else and spend your money where people have manners.

MOST EXPENSIVE POLICE/FIRE STORE ANYWHERE!!!. If you need new uniforms and really don't want to go all the way to Ray O'herrons in Oakbrook Terrace (Summit Ave. and Roosevelt Rd.) or A.J. Uniform in the Mt. Greenwood part of Chicago (111th St. and California) then you may be tempted to go here. I must say DO NOT DO IT.

This store is so unreasonable overpriced you would have to be a moron to buy more than one thing you really need, and don't have time to go to another store. For example, a Uncle Mike's Duty Belt...$50 at Eagle...$30 at others, Uniform Pants....$50 at Eagle, $35 at Ray O'Herrons, Flying Cross Deluxe Tropic Uniform Shirts at Eagle...$50, at AJ Uniform....$35. Everything in the store is like this too, only use this store for a quick stop for something you really need!

Second, employees at the store can be somewhat rude, and you can be sure that they will follow you around the store constantly, like they are expecting you to shoplift something...either that or they are on commission and they really need to make a sale.

Personally I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone...Ever!!!

Good but.... The customer service at Eagle was more than outstanding. they were incredibly considerate even when i wasnt exactly sure what it was i was looking for :) My only rant would be their pricing. Despite being a specialty store, some articles were too heavily priced. However, with pricing aside, i highly recommend Eagle Uniforms!
