Worst Customer Service. My family and I waited for an hour and a half only to be treated with the rudest customer service I've experienced. The hostesses were abhorently immature and foul and on top of it by the time we got seated and our food, it wasn't all that great. I'd have enjoyed Pizza Hut just as much or perhaps more seeing that I wouldn't have to deal with rudeness on top of it!

Steer Clear. I wanted to give Giordano's zero stars, but that wasn't an option.

My husband and I visited Giordano's to experience their highly recommended pizza – were we disappointed! We visited at around 5:00pm on a Saturday, but were ready and willing for the anticipated wait. After giving our name at the host’s stand and pre-ordering our pizza to reduce the wait after we got our table, we squeezed into the filled-to-capacity bar area. My husband went to the bar to order a beer but couldn’t get the bartender’s attention – because this bartender had his back to the customers more than he faced the multitudes of potential customers. After waiting for a while we thought we heard our name called and made our way to the host’s stand. When we got there, we were rudely informed that it wasn’t our name that was called. We continued to wait with the rest of the throng and finally our name was called. The host basically grunted and pointed to a table near the front door. We took our seats at the indicated table and waited…we waited over 15 minutes and never saw a server. At this point we had been abused enough and left. We are not high-maintenance customers; we understood that is was a Saturday evening at a popular restaurant and that we would have to be understanding of the situation. The rudeness and inattentiveness experienced was beyond the situation; any good restaurant with attentive management would be prepared to handle the crowd of customers and would hire a staff that could handle the situation. Giordano’s isn’t the only place serving pizza in Chicago!

Great local Chicago Pizza and great garlic bread. This was my first visit to this location. With the Randolph street location there isn't really much of a wait, but we waited about an hour at this location. After we put our name in they let you order your pizza since it does take about 45 minutes to cook. I would add about 1 or 2 people to the recommended people a pizza can feed if you are ordering the stuffed pizza. they seem to under estimate it by about 1 o 2 people.

Excellent Deepdish pizza!. I ate at 3 different Giordano's locations in Chicago, and the service and pizza were always excellent. The pizza can definitely take a long time to make, particularly during busy hours, so you need to be patient.

We also noticed that groups that order individual pizzas for each person tend to get them faster than if you order one large pizza...

Nonetheless, the deepdish is excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

A Chicago Tradition. I have the pleasure of visiting Chicago every year or two and always make it a point to eat at Giordano's. I just got back and was not disappointed. It is everything I remember. The staff was courteous and the food was very good. I'll be having pizza for breakfast. Thanks for the memories! See you next year!

Love it! Better than Pizzeria Uno, Lou Malnati's, Gino's East - HANDS DOWN!. We love pizza, could eat it every day, and have been to Giordano's, Pizzeria Uno, Lou Malnati's, Gino's East - and honestly - Giordano's is the BEST. Awesome tasty crust, excellent sauce, stretchy and yummy cheese - don't even bother with toppings, this pizza is heaven. Gino's East would get second place, but the place smelled so much like spilled, stale beer, that the pizza ended up tasting like beer (depends on your liking, but that is not a good thing for us). Lou Malnati's was a HUGE disappointment, the pizza crust was disgusting, cheese and sauce OK, and Pizzeria Uno tasted like frozen pizza - enough said.

thin crust - not. ordered thin crust with vegetables and the crust was very thick - does anyone do a true thin crust ?

Am looking for a light thin crust - not half inch thick doughy pizza like what I got here

Not as good as I'd like. I don't know how the restaurant itself is, but the pizza isn't really that great (or, it wasn't for me). Lou Malnati's or Chicago's Pizza and Pasta easily beats it. Prices are decent, or at least comparable to those other places, but, once again, pizza just not that good. And fettuccine alfredo could have been a LOT better.
