The Pioneers of Not Greeting You
by Jacqueline Blomberg at Citysearch
In the past I had facials, etc. at this salon. In the present, I pick up cosmetic items. When you walk in, everyone is standing around talking and giggling and couldn't care less that you are a paying customer. No "can I help you." Totally invisible. This is not the first time that this has happened. If it were, I wouldn't even comment. I feel like I am inconveniencing an employee by asking one to help me. I use the salon next door and commented on this attitude and they told me that this isn't the first time that they have heard this. I think this is a case of "when the cat is away, the mice will play."
