Pretty good food...but a date spot?. I like the Cheesecake Factory. I eat there regularly. It has some good dishes, a decent wait staff and of course great cheesecake desserts. But, c'mon people, this is NOT a good date spot. If you are a tourist and have never been in a big city before, maybe, but otherwise take your date elsewhere.

Love the food, not just the cheesecake!. The Cheesecake Factory should not be known only for its AWESOME cheescake, but also for its food! They have a phenomenal menu selection and every dish I have ever had was fantastic! My two favorite dishes are the halibut and the romano crusted chicken dish! The value for the food is great because the portions are huge! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants! And... a secret spot for some of the BEST mojitos I have ever had for those of you who love mojitos like me!

Yum. Nice atmosphere, delicious food. This is a no-brainer. Trendy but not so trendy that it's uncomfortable for the average Joe-and-Jane. Enjoy the lush private booths, enjoy a great meal (whatever you order will be perfect) and share a slice of world famous cheesecake with your honey. The decor and waitstaff is interesting enough to spark a conversation if you're nervous or tongue-tied. Translation: It's a great date place. This doesn't exclude families though - there's plenty to offer for all ages and everything is delicious! This is a place for everyone. Enjoy and relax - dinner is meant to be a pleasure and you fit right in.

Excellent Cheesecake, Wonderful Waiter. I ordered the salmon and it was the most wonderful, melt in your mouth, flavorful salmon I have ever tasted. We had a wonderful waiter, Mike, who I believe will be working in the bar, who made everything that much better. Great attitude and atmospher. We went on a Tuesday afternoon, and while busy, we didn't wait any longer than 10 minutes for a spot. Definatly worth the wait if you have the time.

Mashed Potatoes!.
This restaurant should be named 'The Mashed Potato Factory'. Looking around, everything comes with huge portions of mashed potatoes! My wife's halibut was on top of a big gob of mashed potatoes!
Yuck! And the cheesecakes are extremely overpriced. Twentyfive dollars for a cheescake! But if you like martinis there is a big selection of flavors! You'll need some!

food so good. It is a shame that the hostesses, servers, managers, bus boys, etc. know exactly how good the food they serve is. It is really hard to have the best meal of your life in a restaurant staffed by people who really don't care if anyone ever walks in the front door again. Rude service? Understatement.

Service and attitude.
I recieved horriable service and attitude at the Kansas city cheese cake factory, and being in the restaurant business as a manager of a local resturaunt was distubed with the way the food and service was.
Granted I expect the best..... But understand the Industry enough to Know that the Kansas city establishment is a digrace for restaurants in the area!

The Cheesecake Factory By: Caitlin Hayes. The Cheesecake Factory is a nice resturant that is centrally located. It has fine food including a wide variety of cheesecake. The only downside to this resturant is that it is always crowded. You can never get a seat. The overal outlook is a fine resturant with an atmosphere of fun and friendly people.

Yummy!. We were there for only a few days and had the opportunity to go anywhere we wanted. We went there 3 times in 2 days. OHHH THE DESSERTS! Although the rest of the food was good there was too much to choose from. But the desserts, we ordered one each and just kept moving the plates around the table!
