Since then, it has grown into a brand-name behemoth that one-ups the Gap in quality, status and price--but not necessarily creativity. The core of the collection is constant: versatile staples such as khakis, button-down shirts, denim, T-shirts and jackets in solid, organic colors. Lengths and fabrics change slightly according to the season. Some stores have expanded into bedding, fragrance, bath and beauty, and home-furnishing lines.

It's alright. I don't know if there is much ingenuity to Banana Republic but it's a nice enough store for a certain thing, like office clothes. The store doesn't offer much that's sexy or sassy - I couldn't see wearing a single pair of their pants anywhere cool, unless it was a family dinner or something.

Banana re-puke it. Have you seen Banana republic, it looks like a GQ magazine and personally I think that looking like they guy standing next to you is really pointless...There are better places in Chicago to go than Banana Republic, you can find that just about anywhere!

totally!!!. I think that men should shop at Banana Republic because the clothes are wonderful. Banana Republic clothes fit men well and can make an average looking man very sexy. The only downfall to Banana Republic is the clothing there can be quite expensive for the average 20+ college student or new professional. However, even having one or two pieces of Banana Republic clothing in your closet can help change the styling of an outfit!
