In Short – Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.

So Bad that it made me join this website

Words can not describe how disappointed my boyfriend and I were with the quality and taste of food we ordered from PF Changs. I by no means consider myself a food snob and although I go to Chinatown regularly and expected a degree of 'westernization' from this restaurant, I was still shocked at how disgusting this food was. The hot and sour soup was a glue-like salty concoction while the lo mein noodles were barely fried and in some places so congealed that they had not even been separated and fried properly. The szechuan was a deep fried tomato tasting excuse for a dish with no heat whatsoever. I can honestly say that I have enjoyed better food cooked by friends who are so hung over they can barely stand. Respect your tastebuds and your wallet. Don't waste your time or money on this rubbish!
- Cons: Just horrible food....is that enough?
PF Changs in Chicago I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Very dusty and dirty restaurant, uniforms are ugly, food quality is terrible, compared to Northbrook, and what is up with that shelf they have upstairs where they keep all the dirty plates from previous guests? Can we say Health inspector please?
The restaurant is so dirty, I understand they are on a street corner in downtown Chicago, but please guys get it right. Easton and Northbrook are the better locations and have better food quality. Fix your uniforms, those black ninja outfits are terrible!
Great menu - great food.

I have taken numerous out of town guests here - mostly friends from Europe, one of which who lived in China - and he thought it was great. Each time my guests enjoyed it. Maybe it's not the most authentic Chinese - but it is very good food. I would highly recommend the crispy beef. Would also recommend the king pao chicken. Chicago is tough to find good chinese food - but this place gets the job done. Service was friendly and efficient and our bill didn't break the bank. If only they would turn down the air conditioning....we all froze.
- Pros: Menu that offers something for everyone
- Cons: Bring your sweater for the blasting air conditioning
Casual dining

I went here for a quick lunch one day. It was pretty empty, although it was a weekday. We sat upstairs, where there is a large room with dark wood tables and red accents everywhere. We ordered lunch bowls, and it was okay. Definitely not the best asian food I've ever had though. The service was good, and it is an elegant vibe to it even though it's pretty casual. I would recommend going at night more than during the daytime, since the upstairs has nice windows, and the city lights would add a lot more to the experience.
- Pros: Decor, location
- Cons: Not the best asian food

For a chinese restaurant this place is a disapointment. Me and my girlfriend waited for 30 minutes to be seated on a thursday night. Three of the receptionist where arguing among themselves who to seat first. . when we were seated the floor was disgusting, rice and chopsticks where on the floor where we ate. the food came another 20 min later. it was not that great, i had better food and cheaper prices at china town the chow mein had no taste wats so ever. it was so bland. This place is we wont ever go again
- Pros: none
- Cons: bad lighting and everything else
