Definitely Sushi with training wheels. It was fresh enough, but was rather bland. On our first visit we sat at a table and ordered the Sashimi deluxe & Sushi deluxe. Other than arriving in a giant boat the presentation wasn't anything special. We enjoyed ourselves however. On our 2nd visit we sat at the Sushi bar. It could have been cleaner, considering we arrived early we could only conclude the soy splatters were from a previous days customer. This time we only ordered rolls and sushi ala carte. All the rolls were fried somehow, and wrapped rather clumsy. The sushi was just dropped on a roll of rice & that was that, it could have been done nicer. We noticed an unusual amount of young children dining. It was nice to see children enjoying Sushi, but again for the money we prefer to dine sans ill behaved children who cannot sit still. Sushi House is pretty much the "Gap" of Sushi restaurants. It's plain and unremarkable and catering to the masses of California roll lovers. Nothing wrong with that, it's a great way to get started with Sushi. But if you are a devoted Sushi lover and looking for an experience with true ambiance keep looking.

Pros: It's Sushi, great for a first timer

Cons: Prices, rushed, selection isn't vast

Very cozy, warm setting. a little crowded, had to sit at the sushi bar. We were able to watch the chefs work. The mood was romantic and friendly. Since their menu is extensize, we had no idea what to order. We started with the sushi and sushimi combination to get a taste of everything. Melt in you mouth wonderful. The fish was so fresh it just fell apart in your mouth. The sushi rolls had tuna, alvacado, cucumber and caviar and was served with pickled ginger and wasabi. The presentaion was great. Our waitress suggested the crunchy tuna roll. Shrimp tempora, alvacado, green onion and caviar all wrapped up together and topped with a light sweet sauce. For our last roll, we had the double spicy roll. The best by far. I am so glad the waitstaff was so super friendly and picked out such great rolls for us.

Pros: waitstaff, atmosphere, tasty

Cons: parking
