The Zegna label stands not only for refined, tailored men's clothing, but also expert personal service. Indeed, it's not asking too much for a Zegna master tailor to rush from the striking, European-styled store and up Mag Mile for a fitting in a valued customer's home or office. Of course, the label also comes with a price, which can run into the thousands for a tailored suit, up to $300 for a shirt. The menswear collection includes the "sartorial" line of classic three-button suits, jackets, trousers, and shirts. Ties, too. The sportswear line of slacks, shirts and sweaters is relaxed, yet distinguished. Shoes (loafers, canvas sports shoes) and other accessories complete the offering.
The Goods
Zegna's Made-to-Measure service promises a custom-tailored suit in three weeks, and allows a choice of jacket (one-, two-, three-button or double breasted) and trouser styling. Custom-made shirts can be made from a choice of 150 fabrics and a dozen collars.
