The Scene
Brimming with ooh-and-ahh inducing garments for little guys and gals, this small, colorful space will woo you into wanting babies, if only to dress them in these stylish frocks. Traditional palettes are replaced with more contemporary colors that capture the eye left and right. Reserved but friendly enough, employees will gladly answer questions and help find sizes.
The Goods
Move over pink, baby blue and pale yellow. Enter "tomato," celadon and "sky." The fashion police can't touch kids who wear caps that sport sayings like "dude" and "pretty" or who get dolled-up in sweaters of pre-washed vintage fabrics. Special-occasion girly garb, lambswool-lined car coats, colorful puppets and mesmerizing musical mobiles cover all the bases. Fur-lined boots, sheared rabbit coats and leather blazers keep kiddies cozy and oh-so-stylish in winter.

This is the best place to go for kids clothes and accessories- if you want to spend a lot of money for brand names. They have itty bitty versions of the hottest jeans and brands for adults in baby-teen sizes. Great for baby gifts. The staff is a little stuck up, and the stuff is pricey, but if you have the money it's a great one stop shop. PROS: cute clothes CONS: more expensive than some places

If you?re a trendy parent, you will love this store. If you style is more classical, then this is not the place for you. My children have different styles. This place has trendy clothes that you can also find in LA boutiques such as Kitson. But they also have brands you can find in retail stores. I believe that inorder for a store to be unique it has to carry brands that are not available in big retail stores. There is nothing unique about juicy, ed hardy and true religion if every store carries it. When i think of boutiques, I think of clothes or accessories that are unique and hard to find. I think Madison?s can be a bit overpriced compared to other boutiques in Chicago

I used to go to this store all of the time when my kids were little and I just went back for the first time in about 7 yrs to get a baby gift for my cousin. I got the cutest newborn gift for my cousin...a summer dress, a bikini, and baby sunglasses. This store is just as current and fun as it was when my kids were little! Oh, and my kids are now obsessed with their tween store in Lincoln Park!
