When it's warm, this patio of this Italian mainstay is jam-packed with people watchers who hail from near and far. Inside the cozy-but-boisterous brownstone, several dining rooms adorned with drapes, mirrors and rich wood paneling waft with the scent of garlic. Plump mussels in white wine sauce and pan-fried calamari with zippy cherry peppers start things off with a bang. Minestrone soup warms from the inside out. Homemade pappardelle is christened with full-bodied tomato sauce, while Chicken Vesuvio, studded with peas, receives a bracing blast of lemon.

One of my favorite Chicago restaraunts. The atmosphere is always wonderful and the food is great! My husband has yet to find a Pollo Saltimboca that even come close. I highly recommend Rosebud for a special evening out with your significant other.

Rosebud is a wonderful place to go for a romantic evening diner out. They have a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, the staff is friendly and see to your every need. The food is outstanding. Pastas dishes, Chicken dishes, Sandwiches and Pizza - thin hand rolled crust. The pizza comes in 4 Cheese or Veggie - Yummy. This is a must if you are going to visit Chicago, or if you live there and have not tried them!
